Whatever. I'm the most popular person on the club. Everybody loves me.
See you fools on Sunday
Lovely spin through the tunnel of leafy spectacularness that is currently River Road with @Erika, @Kayt, @Graydon, @Bruce, and @Josh.

We smashed Alpine and then cruised in for victory donuts. @Graydon caught two flats in a hurry so we left him for dead; @Josh took a detour to visit the museum of Grimpeur and @Bruce peeled off for an extra cappuccino. The early crowd was almost home by noon.

KCC "regular" train was looking good when we saw you.
As luck would have it this guy John pulled his car over and asked if I needed a floor pump or tools! Found out he used to cycle but due to an injury he can't anymore. Now he drives up and down 9W and river road looking to help other cyclist in need.

Jules thanks for the insightful tips and tricks. Nice to meet @Erika, @Kayt, and @Josh for the first time.
I will be ready to rumble on the BB at 8AM
@eragot, stop kissing up to Owens.
I agree that Owens is likable, especially by cars.

I shattered a taillight out of a yellow cab SUV yesterday when it right hooked me coming back down Bowery (I slapped it).  Either I don't know my own strength or they just don't make them like they used to.

Nice work, Hulk . . . er . . . Jeff

I, on the other hand, started my day off with a scuffle with the driver of a dollar van, which ended in him chasing me with a hammer and me panic-clipping into my Looks and fleeing before things got "real." #bitoffmorethanicouldchew

Good ride today in some very Belgian-feeling weather.  Vlad made me laugh with his stream-of-conscious commentary on what life feels like when you're riding Madfiber wheels.  Andy, Konrad, Nelson and Thierry were plenty attacky on the climbs and we got to hang with Mattie at Piermont bikes, where I kept it proper with a bacon/maple glazed d-nut.

Might be my last Kissena Sunday ride in a while, which is fitting, cause I'm exhausted from it.
Anyone (besides me) doing the Prospect Park Duathlon on Sunday?

Nope.

Who's riding tomorrow? 8am BB.
I'm in, @vlad. Supposed to be a nice, brisk day.
I'm in tomorrow for 8am BB.
I'll be at GWB at 7:30am. Any takers?

GW closed on way back I heard?

I did a little 45 minute ITT practice without the gang back from piermont and was lucky enough to make the cut I guess. What a pain.
GWB closed???
Yeah, rather than wait it out on the GWB, Jessica, Anna, and I rode into JC and got real familiar with NJ public transportation. PATH is lame, but better than being in a car. Breezy one out there on the way back. In summation, biiiiikes!!!! (I love them so hard)
Next time, consider the ferry.
Not sure I know what the weekend Ferry schedule is like. I'll look into it.
I think ferry woulda been a wait too.  But srsly, why close bike/ped path for a funeral?  Was is for a cop?  Use the damn north side.  Lame b/c there was no warning on the PA site.

The wind was pretty bad.  I was doing 350w and going 16mph.  Not fun!
Oh it was closed for Tyler Clementi.  That's cool then. Well, not cool but a nice tribute.
that wind was not fun. feel like a rode through a half dozen trash/leaf tornados in brooklyn. a bit of on odyssey to get home, but good company all around :) thanks dudes
