I'll be at the GWB at 9 this Sunday.  Sickness this week takes me away from racing.  No idea how I'll feel.
hello.... this is maura writing.  i had said that i would meet you at 9am on sunday.  however, my plans changed and i am leaving at 7am to cycle to bear.  are you interested?  please let me know....  my cell:  646 957 0218.....  maura

Was there a team ride this morning?
I left later this morning because of the rain, and because sitting on the couch with coffee seemed like a good idea at the time.  Out the door at 10:30 or so, I got in a solid ride along River Road, Bradley, out to Nyack, then back along 501, up Speer and home.  Neil, was that you I saw coming down Alpine as I was going up, and coming up Piermont Road as I was going down?  We were dancing in circles with each other, I think.

Maura, I hope you got in a good ride.  I wonder if you rode back or took the train?

After taking apart my crankset, cleaning and regreasing last night, I rode 80 miles on a still-creaking bottom bracket.  The good thing was I never had to say 'on your left', as riders started looking back about a half mile before I got there.
Bruce van-Schalkwyk  - Indeed Bruce 'twas I who had the pleasure of twice seeing you yesterday.  I've found that I always look faster going in the opposite direction from my club mates, so I choreograph that pas de deux.
Anyone fixing to do the Saturday version tomorrow? (8/22/14)  As long as I get to the bridge by 12:15, I can do whatever, though I'm partial to putting in a nice tempo.  Can do the traditional route or go inland.
possibly maybe.

I'm planning on the traditional ride tomorrow, 8am bb, 9am gwb.
me too 8am bb

I'm planning on the traditional ride tomorrow, 8am bb, 9am gwb.
Bruce, what kind of distance/direction? I might join for all or part!
Hi Margaret. Around 70 miles or so. Course may depend on how many show up, but I plan for riding up the hudson path, riverside drive, over the gwb, river road, clausland or bradley, stop in Piermont for coffee, home on 9w. There are variations on the route, with lots of turnaround points. It would be great to have you join.
I'm in
Me and some others are doing 7bb 8gw. Probably not terribly hard as I'm nearing GMSR. We'll do mostly "chillin' on the bike" pace, with perhaps some smack down efforts on a hill or two just to keep all systems primed.
I can do earlier , but I'm looking to go easy , as it's the only pace I have,

Is this an unvite?
If you mean IN-vite, then sure - for anyone who thinks that sounds fun or productive. But I do have to stick to the plan.

That said, I don't mind sitting on someone who wants to ride a little quicker. One rider's tempo is his wheel sucker's endurance, after all.
I'll be there at 7.

Got up late , still an 8am BB group?
change of plan - I am putting my head back on the pillow right now zzzZZZZZ
I'll be there 9 am GWB!
Any body else doing ride tmr morning ?
I'm bicling , Sunday for me
I'll be out Sunday for the typical Kissena ride. 8 a.m. BB 9 a.m. GWB. Probably gonna shoot for ~75 miles, but there'll be plenty of bail points if you want to keep it shorter.

Civilized group ride, no drop (within reason), no funny business.
A solid ride today. Dale, David and I rolled from the Brooklyn Bridge and met JP and Margaret at the GWB. River road and Bradley where JP turned for more miles. We got coffee in Piermont and Margaret took off towards Rockland Lake. The three of us headed back on the low road, hit Chuchill and then home. I got in about 75 miles on an overcast day with no rain.
Good riding with all of you today. Margaret is a stong rider and is going to do well racing.
Taking it easy tmr morning after 80 m today. GWB 9? Cell me 7329257625
Change of plans for me. Got talked into a 7 a.m. BB depart with Joaquin and Robertson.
How far/fast are you guys going?
Nice to ride with other people again. Wish I could join tomorrow for NJ or triangle, but have to be back home by 930a.

Any other tethered riders, I will be doing PP laps. GAP 6am. Konditori post ride.
Can't make the 9am Sunday ride unfortunately.
I too have to keep it local, bit won't be hitting the park till 7 or so. Yang -- I'll try and catch you at GAP around then. If I'm lazy, maybe 7:30.
