Nope
Saturday looks like the better weather , anyone riding?
I can go for a bit but not whole way, unless people are up for an 8am GWB.
I plan on being at BB at 8am and GWB at 9am. Need to be back in Brooklyn around 1pm
I expect be at the GWB at 9am on Sunday (tomorrow).  If anyone is thinking of joining, let me know, otherwise, I'll just roll through.
fun ride today!

The rain was pretty heavy at times.

I started out, realized in a few miles, I had an insufficient jacket, turned around, went home, got a better jacket, and headed out again.

I was pretty comfy until I crossed into NY State on the low road.  The rain went from kind of heavy to hard, and I was concerned about getting too cold, so I turned for 9W in Palisades.  9W had terrible visibility (expected), so I went to River Road, which was closed.  Went anyways.  The fog was so thick I couldn't see the water, even with a massive container ship heading north--looked like it was sailing on clouds.

The rain let up as I got to the bridge. This is the thing about the rain for me.  When it lets up, I want to go out for more.  So I rode to Central Park, and did a lap.  And the rain started dumping again.

So I rode home.

One plus of finishing in a heavy rain is that the bike is relatively clean.  Just dumped my two water bottles on the chain and bike and went inside.
^ Tough as nails JP.

I happen to like riding outside.  Wear the right clothes and your comfortable riding range can be extended pretty far.
Sunday looking good for 8am Brooklyn/9am GWB ride RR to Piermont. Split at Piermont for those who want to go Clauseland, Bradley or further.
Aiming to be there!
Me too!! Like old times!!

I'm in
Forecast is for 3-5 inches of snow in Piermont ending at 4am Sunday morning. Do they plow up there?

Bummer
CP Laps instead and see what the weather does?
in for cp laps
Bummer, but I'm in for any group ride at this point. Anything is better than sitting on the trainer by myself.
I hope we can all ride together on Sunday.
Depending on weather, I hope to ride long tomorrow too. Will play both days by ear.
I'll be at the GWB at 9am tomorrow regardless of the weather.
Looks pretty rough out here in eastern Queens.  Playing it by ear, but sadly might be yet another trainer ride tomorrow morning. *sad trombone*

maybe I was premature.  Maybe I should write, "I'll be there if the bridge is open."
at the moment, the path is closed.
GWB path is still closed.

The St. Nicholas Ave bike path is partially covered and the street kind of messy.

But, at 36 degrees and going up, I assume roads will clear and the bridge will open.

Waiting a bit.
Keep us posted JP. I might head out (from bklyn) around 10am, if roads are not great might just hit the park
Thinking I will head out for Alpine later when the bridge opens ...
heading to prospect park, will ride about 2 hours // easy tempoish.

Text me if you wanna join: 347.225.1058

GWB just opened.

Don't know if River road will be.  I'm betting it will be closed.
fire roads never close...

and my down tube blocks no mud...

I’m in Vermont where we got 3 inches of snow. Too much ice and snow for the mountain bike (I tried and ended up on my ass twice in 5 Minutes) so I borrowed snowshoes and went out with my wife and dog.

Saturday is looking good. I’ll be enjoying the weather starting at the BB at 8am. Join me if you are in town
