Patrick, sounds great , i was thinking of Cunningham Saturday,
Glacier park might be to long of a drive for me as i have to be back by  1.30pm
To anyone, but specially @mugwump , if I wanted to check some cool roads west of the GWB (rather than the tipical Piermont RD/9W) -- any suggestions or links to rides you would recommend? thanks!

or take the Babylon line to Rockville Centre and I will pick you up and drive to the trails. There is a 7:43 train out of Atlantic Terminal that will get you to Rockville Centre at 8:35. Let me know if you’d like to join.

If you can please pick me up in Rockville, then I'll be into this.

So many.

However, I find more interesting roads start in the 30-60 minute bike ride range from the bridge.

What kind of time/distance are you looking for?

Awesome. 60 to 80 km from the GWB.
@eloy let’s touch base tomorrow. Happy to pick you (and others) up in Rockville Centre
@PatrickGrehan
what time would you be leaving the trails?
Maybe 11:30 (or 12 at the latest). There are multiple loops and we can aim to loop back to the parking lot earlier so that you can return home if others want to continue on

This route takes you out to Oakland and then Mahwah, NJ

This route takes you to within a few miles of the current Supercross Cup site

Both are a bit over 80km. There are plenty of variations within the two to make things very interesting.  You can cut out the far ends of both, but, unfortunately, that's where the riding seems the best.

One of these days, I'd love to show folks the way up to Pleasantville via the railway and around the Rockefeller estates.  It's about 97km from my place.

so much awesome, thanks, JP!!
@PatrickGrehan
can we meet up at 9am , I have to be back at a certain time and would like a couple of hours on the trails
@PatrickGrehan can I catch a ride with you from Rockville Center? Can your rack take thru-axle bikes?
I'm planning on riding from the Brooklyn Bridge at 8:00a tomorrow morning. Might do a modified version of one of the routes @mugwump posted earlier. Anyone else interested?
I’ll be riding in the same area tomorrow, but a little earlier.
John - I'm up for a ride tomorrow at 8
@MaxThorn  @Mark Taylor @eloy I am starting a group text so we can coordinate. Others are welcome to join on Cx or Man bikes tomorrow

actually @PatrickGrehan would you mind adding me to that group text? I have a cx bike that I bought in september and haven't ridden since so maybe it's time to take it out. I just looked up those trails and it seems doable for me
@Brian Miele

Happy to do so. I need numbers for you and Mark. Can you text me at 516-987-6404?
@PatrickGrehan i just texted you my number
good times in the trails today
Great to have some friends to ride these trails with today. Mark, Brian, Eloy, Max and I had a hoot on on lit CX bikes on this flowy course.

Max came by LIRR, but he was left at the station when the doors of his train never opened. He hopped onto another train and I picked him up and met the rest of the crew at the trails. More than a few people noticed our cx bikes and matching kits.

Since Max and I got there a little later than planned we hit two segments again: Hunters Path and White Ghost. Max was ripping it up and I was starting to fee the fatigue. On on the drive home Max noted that Ricky @RichardCornetta has a wicked good Strava time on the White Ghost segment.

We’ll be back before CX season
My first time to Glacier Ridge. These trails f l o w. Singletracks.com says there are 11 miles total. My Garmin shows I rode almost 19 miles in 2 hours moving time. I'm not sure whether or not we hit every inch of dirt in the system but as you can see from the data you can ride for a long while without repeating too much. The construction of the trails really lets you lean your CX bike into the turns. Highlight: White Ghost. Patrick was a great guide--thank you! And Eloy got some good photos, as y'all can see. I didn't realize I stick my tongue out so much? Really fun riding. Something different on a beautiful Saturday.
Anybody out tomorrow ?
9am GW Piermont?
Mark-
I’m up for something-Meet at BB at 8?

@dale
see you there
Mark-flatted, I’ll be a few min late
Loving Dale’s happy face
