@Jules and somehow you managed to not get dropped at every single group ride :lol:

@NigelCarreiro There's always next time!

Good times.

I was kind of amazed that most folks had never been to the pier before.
It's what puts the "pier" in Piermont.
Dang those shades are super sharp

They make me think of Robin.  As in Batman and Robin.
@mugwump between this comment and the "chill" comment in the Q&A thread... I'm beginning to think you're dropping hints and slowly building up to a spectacular Batman & Robin reference...

You weren't climbing like Cav on Sunday , I was however
Tomorrow is looking like a beautiful day to do a longer ride. I'm planning on doing something similar (if not the same) as this https://www.strava.com/activities/5760245079 (stealing JP's strava link since I didn't go back to the city on that ride).

Going to leave brooklyn at about 8:15 from BB
I'm in @Matt Budofsky! 9am at the GW?
figure like 9:10
Got it. See ya then
I am in. Anyone want to meet at Brooyn Bridge?
Yep, BB at 8:15.
I'm in. Hoping to make it to GW after the World's Fair race.
Sorry guys I can't make it tomorrow morning sadly. Have fun!
Sunday 9am GWB for me.

@mugwump will be there.
Will try to make it!
Overslept and no way I’ll make it to GWB by 9. Have a good ride boys!
@Matt Budofsky

You missed a good one.  Adam, Jonathan, Nigel and moi rode out to Suffern.

Good pace much of the day.  Fun times.

I'll be at the GW tomorrow at 9 if anyone wants to join.
I expect to be there as well.
I'm gonna try and make it out.
I will also try if my legs will cooperate.
Another Sunday, another fun ride.

Adam, Greg, Nigel and ex-Kissena Marc Bertucco met at the bridge.

We made out way out to Airmont, NY before heading back.  Marc was flagging a bit, which hurt our speed a bit, but probably kept us fresher for longer.  We ended up losing him not once but twice (I hate losing people on rides; not a good thing to do). As he knew where we were both occasions, I wasn't too worried (just wished he had told us before dropping off).  The first time, outside of Ramsey, we waited a bit, then rode on and caught him something like 8 miles later in Washington Township. The second time, it turns out he sat up because he was blown.  That was outside of Oradell, NJ.  He reported he pedaled at 80w the rest of the way back.

Watts were pushed!
Great ride. Legs got cooked but thats what these boys do. A high tempo sauté. Still not sure how JP has all those Jersey roads imprinted on his brain.
Great ride fellas!  That cobbled climb seemed quite apropos given Paris-Roubaix was the same day.
