I'll be out there, probably earlier. Going to field test on my usual 3 mile track (southbound between the top of the state-road climb is the rough starting point)
anyone who wants to draft for 2 miles and then try and break away is welcome
^might join ya willy^, depending on how early i get to the farmer's mkt...
Plans changing- gonna sleep in and ft at floyd
Riding Saturday 8am BB > 9am GWB to NYACK or bust, hills optional.
I'm going to ride in prospect park tomorrow AM, around 8.

Whisper email or text if you want to meet up. Endurance / tempo pace
Malcolmson...might you consider riding with WDC and his 10am homies? I'm going to join in with his crew too. I need to not trash my legs tomorrow (Saturday) if I have any hope of keeping up with the Sunday suffer-fests.
@ mark, I'd much prefer it! I am time crunched tommorrow and I can't make sunday unfortunately... Will be at GWB @ 9 -- 646 785 2107
@William, depending on how my morning goes, I may potentially join you guys as well at 10am (Sat)
Ok, brainwave, I'm going to do a circuit of Alpine and then meet the 10am bunch.
Did not have time this AM to join the morning 9W group. I will be out at PP today doing a few hrs of Endurance pace riding starting around 1:30pm. Feel free to join.
@9am John and I ended up playing catchup to the prospect peloton and mineola guys on river road, me comfortable sitting in tucked behind him. We caught them at the top of the hill and then enjoyed the cushion of the large peloton (often a little sketch) until piermont. Took the scenic dirt path back to the main road on the way back. it was a nice date :) hope the legs are ready for tomorrow.
Fell ill again yester-day, alas! 'Twas the swooning fit that came upon me, and I was faint. I did not join the doughty company for a ride into the hills to-day; instead, I am baking cookies.

On the morrow I shall not join in yon hammerfest, as the dawn shall be nigh breaking ere I lay my head to rest this night.

Master William, have you brought hearty fellows into our ranks?
Tito's gone medieval. We are so F*cked when he gets better...
and as for the Field test; sweet mother of suffer that shit hurts. As Ferris Bueller says, if you have the means...

No numbers worth bragging about, but for February I'm not complaining.
The 10am ride was good fun too. Led by William "Chief Recruiter" DC, joined by two potential new Kissena guys (both of whom seemed nice), Joe "Jack Tripper, I live with women roommates who ride my rollers" Mueller and Marc "where did all that fat come from?" Bertucco.

Easy-breezy pace up to Piermont and back. Stopped for a couple of leisurely mechanicals, muffins at the deli and rolled back on 9W.

Looking forward to seeing a big group of Kissena's tomorrow.
When did it become impossible to (a) get on our bikes without taking pictures or videos; and (b) type someone's name without giving them a clever nickname?

We seem to be getting goofier and goofier.

(this is a good thing)
where are the pictures?
@ Ryan: did I mention I took video of my field tests... nevermind. Nobody wants to see a man in his 40's perform an on-bike impersonation of a monkey humping a tennis ball...
@Jules

EVERYONE want to see them!
I cant wait for tom I haven't suferd much since the catskills tom is suposed to be epic I here! see u all at the bb 8am
hahah yes def

don't hold your manhoods cheap
I will be in the Park from 10-12. Anyone else who has to stay close...
Jules, no photos and videos up yet?! It's nearly 2:00, and I know we got some good ones today!
I'll take care of that.

HOT BOI-eeeeyz:
Ha! The Assos advert pose - it turned out perfect!
what's perlberg doing with his right index finger, though?
Hmmmm. Unsure....

The best part of our half-superbowl ride was you two making fun of the Velocity dude blowing a track stand and riding in circles blocking traffic at a light. A mocking chorus of disappointed "Oooooohhhhhhhh"'s was the ego boost he needed. Oh and you saying "I have a Colnago, I CANNOT UNCLIP AT A LIGHT!" loud enough for him to hear. Nice bike though!
