Hey vlad, diplomacy is my middle name... take a deep breath. I actually thought it was pretty harmless - like a dress-up day for summer camp 'adults'. Sorry if my tongue/cheek wasn't obvious enough. Thing was, they drew so much attention to themselves a police van showed up and herded them into the bike lane proper, out of ped and car lanes and kept them moving... said police followed them for a while barking orders on his megaphone, by then I was finished so I didn't stay for the rest of the parade. I can only imagine the moaning at the pub about the 'cops messing up their ride'

Hey, guys. There's a charity ride being organized in part by the Alba brothers to help raise money to assist those hurt by Hurricane Sandy. It's this Saturday and includes an upstate ride. I dont think the ride will be so big so you (we, potentially) could easily go around it. also it's a charity ride, so it shouldn't be very fast. I'm also thinking of participating in the ride and head off from state-line on upwards.

There's 50 riders pre-reg'd for the Sandy ride, any K's participating?

8 it is then. Patrick I think there's on-street parking in Dumbo; I would try around Jay and Sand Street. And It's just around the corner from the entrance to BB at Tillary St.
