9am sunday GWB jersey side. 80 or so round trip for brooklyners. some hills. one stop. get back reasonable time meaning the pace will be more than small ring 16 mph waste of time bs.
yesterday was 75 mins tempo (the guy with the PT said 280w for the 75 mins) dear god it was hard.
for the underemployed, independantly wealthy, self-employed, or those taking a "personal day" the same goes for monday. 9am GWB.
in addition the snow cancelled superbowl ride will take place in early march. Just in time to shred any race legs one might have before spring series and grants tomb. it will be on a sunday.

with vlad on that one, Monday!
heading to PP for some laps at 9 a.m. this morning.  I will be in a red Pearli Zumi on a black bike if anyone wants to join.  Cheers.
Skipped out on the morning ride today, but will be in PP from 1-3pm. Holla.
Nice ride.  We (Keith, Andy, Jersey Mike, Chabanov)  went inland to Knickerbocker and then over to the Tappan Resevoir, then West Nyack and Congers before heading back. Keith and Chabanov went out for a bit more.

On the way back, I got to the GWB and realized I had a clear bridge and a fierce cross-tailwind.  I drilled it across the bridge, thinking of taking the Strava record.  It's a little freaky riding at over 30mph on the bridge.  When I got home, I uploaded the ride and found out that the segment was flagged as too dangerous--no records are being kept there anymore.

It was pretty chilly to start but by the time we got moving I felt much better. Although JP, Keith and Dan were right, I should have brought some sort of neckccessory.

We took a really nice route. I'll have to study my GPS map to remember it a bit. But it was pleasant to try something new. I enjoy that climb by the quarry (I think the last time I was there it was also with Keith but about 90 degrees).

There is still quite a bit of ice around Rockland lake so be careful if you head over there.

I was pretty blown by the time we got home. Still feeling it.

And I was just about to offer pre-ride warm-up cuddles. Dave you'll never know what you could have had.

My thoughts exactly.
The weather.com alert informing me that I should bundle up to avoid hypothermia was the final straw. No way. Hello again, trainer.
FYI: apologies for posting a group drinking announcement in the group ride thread, didn't know where to post. Anyhow, in case some of you won't see me on the Feb-24th ride and would like to say hello/farewell prior to my move to PDX, I'll be at 61 Local in Bkln on Saturday the 23rd at 5pm.

See there and/or on the road...

Cheers,
Norm
Posted with tears in my eyes to the Club Calendar... :(
