I'm gonna do 9@gwb. Just bc Keith will be there and he'll refuse to use technology before tomorrow and realize some want 9:30. I need Keith in case Lee Van Cleef shows up.
Jersey side?

I'll be the tall dweeb in the all-black hincapie kit.
Based on response, I will aim for 9am GWB hookup.
I'll be at BB at 8am
I'm also shooting for 8am @ BB and 9am @GWB
I'll be there for the 8 / 9
I'm on my way for bb at 8
I won.
I'm gonna ask you a simple question and I want you to listen to me: who's the big winner here today on the Kissena Club Ride? Huh? Owens, that's who. Owens's the big winner. Owens wins.

I did a sleepy-head solo ride today. It was good seeing the big group coming home as I was heading out.

I was cursing myself for underdressing but once the sun came out it turned into a beautiful day. I did river road, 9W to kings highway, bradley, quick pee stop in Piermont, and then back via 9W. A nice cross-tailwind on the way home made it very manageable.

@Jeffrey White- You doing okay? The hearing loss and tinnitis are not permanent, are they?
@neilx - I'm pretty good! The hearing loss/tinnitus are almost certainly temporary. I was able to pop my right ear for the first time yesterday, which was very exciting -- though temporary.
@Jeffrey White  Glad to hear it.  Scary sh*t.

Quick mention for this weekend's riding/racing schedule. We've got Kissena racing at Grant's Tomb in every category except the women's races and I would encourage you to come out and cheer your teammates on if you are heading over the bridge for a Saturday morning/afternoon ride.

For you Brooklynites, if you are riding up the West Side Bike, along the Hudson, just exit at 96th street, ride up to Riverside drive which runs parallel to the path and when you get to 120th street, you are going to see some hot racing action. It's on your way. All it costs is some of your time. See what an actual crit is like! I'll be there all day, coaching/DS-ing from the sidelines. Great spectator-friendly course. Weather forecast is not total crap this year...what's not to love?

Here's the schedule:

Cat 5s at 7am. We've got Rigby and Perner registered and Floris and Pederson on the wait list.

Cat 4s at 7:30. We've got Duncan, White, and VanSchalkwyk.

Cat 3s at 8:15. We've got Mueller, Hubbard, Preoteasa, Gardiner

Pro 1/2 at 9:55. We've got Partland (and maybe me). Ragot? Perlberg? Romanow? Bueller...Bueller?

Good luck all. I'll be in Branchbrook.

In a field of one?  :P
I'm excited!  I'll need to borrow a size small jersey from someone.  I'll bring a change of clothes to watch and learn from the other races.

Sorry I didn't make the GT mentoring session; schedule didn't permit.
Nor sure what thread this belongs on - but digging through the archives tonight I found this - for Sir Normanzo - gone from the Right Coast but not forgotten...

Cross-posted from GTC thread:

My plan at this juncture is to be present to cheer on my dudes Saturday - 5's, I'll try to make it in time for your race but no promises.  I'll be available to hold jackets / leg warmers / security blankets at the start for any racers.

All of this is contingent on schoolwork, but I'll do my best.
I have enthusiasm about a group ride tomorrow.
I have no enthusiasm about daylight savings time switch.
Can these competing factors be happily resolved?

9:30 at GWB??
I will ride. Tell me what time.
I'd like to stick to 9am GW so we have time to strafe the PP new member ride.
Yes, I might also like to go around PP a few times with the newbies.
So if anyone else is willing to sacrifice an hour, I'll set my alarm and ignore my carefully calibrated diurnal clock.
Who's down at 8am on the BB???
8am BB
9am GWB it is
Lurkers are welcome
This lurker will be at BB at 8am
8m Bb. I'll be there.
I'm a game time decision.
