i'm planning to ride over to spectate.....not sure if that's what you had in mind, mark, or if you're actually pinning on a number.  if the former - maybe we can all meet someplace before and roll over together.

no, just spectating.  i have no desire to be dropped on the first lap of a race in front of thousands of people. 

a pre-race meetup would be good.  the navy yard is a little far from bars and such, but if we were so inclined a good meetup place / bar would be putnam's on myrtle avenue.  it's probably a 10-min walk to the race from there.

assuming it's not still a shitty rainstorm, i'm down to roll over with you, Jim.  Will throw a couple of tallboys into the backpack.

rain is predicted to ease up by early tomorrow, so i am guessing it'll be on still.  i'll meet you guys there... will probably walk down as it's only a few blocks from my gaff.

These things remind me how when I was working in Germany (on a farm), and I went to the local "get drunk" fests, a lot of 1/2 beer 1/2 colas...and everytime I tell people this, they don't believe me...or say "eeewh..."

It was horrid.  I brought one to the Manhattan bridge heckle party and Ragot drank the whole thing.  Made him all giddy as a schoolgirl.

I'm in as well- anyone care to roll from gap? Also the lime-a-Rita's are a mainline to the hangover of your life.

Regardless- will put some tallboys in the bidon cages.
