Ritchey WCS race slick tubular tires (2 for $70 OBO)
These are brand new. Although I haven't ridden the tubulars, I really like the clincher version of this tire. Long lasting but good for racing. I am selling these because they are 23 mm, whereas my rims are 25 mm and Ragot convinced me that isn't a good combination.

I'm pretty sure the race slick tubular comes out of Vittoria's factory. The cotton 290tpi casing I'm pretty sure is the old Corsa CX body.dstokes said:To go with the above:

Have you measured the width of the tires? They often measure wider than the advertised width. There are different opinions as to using 23mm tubulars with 25mm rims. Some companies recommend it (like Reynolds).

Selling off my 1987 Schwinn Circuit frameset which was my backup roadbike this year (I built up and used it for 2 years prior). Need to make room for upcoming caad10 before my wife leaves me...
For $200 you get...
The Good: Sweet, lugged steel frame, hand made in Greenville, MS in 1986, this was the nicest frame Schwinn produced outside of their custom Paramounts. Size is roughly 54cm center to center for both top and seat tubes. Columbus SL main tubes. Chromed aero Tange fork and seat stays (fork is painted over, they kept it bare for 1988 model). Builds up to almost exactly 21lbs using SRAM Rival & 1500g wheelset. Uses standard english threaded BB and 27.2 seatpost so you can use modern components. Original catalog specs here and here.
The Bad: Headset is usable but noticeably pitted so I highly recommend you replace. Cheap 1" threaded headset options are out there, but you can get a nice Campy Record one for around $60 - a shop will probably have to reface the fork to fit the campy crown race. Prob not a bad idea to reface the BB as well.
The Ugly: Paint is beat up and has surface rust around the BB shell, headtube lugs, and top tube cable guides. Cleans up nice with some elbow grease.
The Extras: Comes with your choice of Cinelli 95mm XA (black) or 100mm 1A stem (silver), Cinelli (64) 40 or 42cm wide bars. Misc stuff - vintage white Blackburn cages w/bolts, rear dropout adjusters, downtube cable guides, plastic BB cable guide, and a very shiny stock seatpost binder bolt. I'll also throw in the old issue of Bicycle Guide that reviews the bike (also has some interesting articles about the US bicycle industry at the time).

Cross bike components slowly have been swapped over to the road bike as needed. Ive wrangled up everything I need bring it back to life. just been too busy to attempt the actual assembly part.

Anyone interested in a used G3 powertap hub that is built up with a wide-format allow clincher rims. These have Campy cassette body, though I suppose that could be swapped out. I have used this wheel for a moderate amount of training for 1.5 years and I would characterize them to be in very good condition. List price is $900. I'm thinking $500 . . .

Stokes is selling his wheel short. the cassette body can be literally pulled off and replaced with a shimano/sram 11/0. I've had Garmin 610 sitting in its box for over a year, I only used it once or twice. It was a gift and not worth the hassle to return it - there's nothing wrong with it, except it does have a little scratch on the face. It has a running and bike mode that has the ability to connect to a HRM & a speed/cadence but NOT a power meter. please take it off my hands! $200, with all the cords, adapters, manuals, etc.

Frame has been ridden and raced a lot over the lasts 7 seasons, but is in excellent shape. A couple of minor chips. A seat stay rebuilt by Calfee a few years ago.
The frame size is 56 cm (a tad small for me)
Comes with carbon seat post, fork, headset, english threaded bottom bracket.
I'm thinking $350. Will throw in clamp-on Campy front derailleur (either chorus or record) for $400. (retail on this frame in 2005 was $1500).
Will post pictures after I clean it up a bit.
