I'm in. Mostly for social reasons. It'll be my second race of the year.
Fellas, I have to say, I'm a little disappointed with level of smack talk going on in this thread. Everyone's all like, "Ohhh, I have the sniffles" or "I just learned how to ride a 2-wheeler" and "My bunions are acting up." If I could bottle up all this whine, I could open up a liquor store in Park Slope and get rich.
i think Marc's bunions are acting up again
Marc, I think most of the kissena folk is scared of talking smack just to have to eat their words since I'm going to obliterate all yo asses.

/end smack talk.
^ he's good for a young'un!
Maybe Marc and Wojciech can fly off the front together and get a big enough gap to actually have time to stop and compare penises before they get caught.
it wouldn't have to be a very big gap

(there's not much to see)

HEYO!!!!!!
$1000000 on wojiech

$1 on marc
smack

look, my pee pee got caught in my big chainring on Wednesday. I am still recovering. But there is enough left to show you all how its done.

$1 on Marc.
$1 on Marc in the Kissena men's 55+ division. Only because Stephane is out with an injury.
Who's organizing the beer hand up at the crest of the hill? Figure it will distract cx guys long enough for me to get the jump on them.
I'll do the beer handups, but be careful Patrick, you sir are a cx-er
And may I just point out that it's supposed to be 50 degrees at the start tomorrow? 50? I haven't even looked at a baselayer in months and suddenly its 50?
lots of LOLs here. NOW I'm looking forward to this race!
Everyone who is coming out or spectating - wear (or bring) your Kissena kits! We'll take some post race team pictures so it'll be nice to look the part.
For the beer handup crew, you might want this handy breakthrough in beer technology to avoid spills in the sprint.

I will be filling in for Jules as team Gymnkataaaaaaaaaaaa.
As the self-anointed "sniffles" boy, I want to retract my statement and add...though I have a 102 fever and what feels like a bleeding tumor in my throat I'll be there ready to kick all your asses!!!
Well now, that feels better.
I keep reading gymkata wrong:

@Jeff...don't worry, I'm going to stop at my hospital before the race to pick up a syringe full of antibiotics to shove up your tuckus, as I pass you on my way to world domination.
Going to have prizes for 2 KOM's tomorrow. I will decide when they are and who the winner is. Ryan don't forget to bring the thimble. Marc don't listen to these haters I will block for you tomorrow if you split the winnings with me.
tito:

bring the jawbone tomorrow

let's award it to the "Most Aggressive Rider"
I'll totally crush all of the other Kissenas on the Disabled List in spectating. I've been practicing my cross heckling, so I am ready to lay down some sweet cheering on you all. I believe there will be a few "Attack Harder Marc!" "JP, Pedal More!" and a sweet "William why are you wearing a ninja costume for the team photo?"
Hey Guys --a little heads-up/favor to ask, I've got some friends coming out to watch in the morning... so, when I ride out ahead from the start-line, it's not an attack, OK? Just let me go so that I can get a few pictures and sip some coffee with my friends up by 3rd street... and then I'll wait for you guys and we'll all finish the 15mph parade lap. Even if it looks like I'm speeding away at 28mph... it's just to look good for my friends. And if you don't see me at 3rd street, that just means I got a cramp, or forgot to sweep my stoop or something like that...

Thanks guys, you're the best!
Sure thing bucko.

Since this race is not sanctioned by any official cycling governing body, I have a technical question on the rules:

Is it permissible to pull a Mengoni?
Uhm...

@Eric: SWEET FANCY MOSES what in the name of all intergalactic FUCK is that and why aren't we electing that shit for President?!?!?!?!

Buddha in a Batmobile! Sasquatch, Sharks and Fucking Rockets?

Damn.
@Eric

I don't usually "do" YouTube, but Jules's incomprehensible word salad made me look.

Nominated: Post of the Year.

My favorite part was when the zombie was eating the lower portion of a severed human leg and blood kept jetting out the top as if there was a beating heart in the ankle or some such.
I have the jawbone. Its power is mine.

'nuff said.
Good luck all you cheeky bastards! My daughters 8th birthday tomorrow, so its off to IHOP in the a.m. -yacks
Re: Pulling a Mengoni

I will take the non-response to assume that it is permitted. See y'all in the bushes.
fun race today fellas! Although my solo move did not win, I want to thank you guys for slowin' to let me have a little Television time out front...

Congrats to the podium 3: Jan, Eric and Perl --nice racing!

And thanks Charlie I. for putting another fine race!
