Jeff,
I'm trying to figure out my time for tomorrow.  Probably leaving harlem at 10am.  You?
I could do 10:30 GW.
JP,

I'm gonna have to leave closer to noon.  Next week!
Not gonna take the chance on lightning cancelling FBF, just gonna head over GW instead.
I'm fixing to ride short, steephish hills over to Franklin Lakes tomorrow (6/19/13).  Want to depart the GWB by around 9:30am.  It will probably be a 2.5 hour route or so.  Move quickly, hit hills hard.
It's looking like dark skies out there so I'm probably gonna skip FBF.

But tomorrow, I have to drop off clipons to Stokes at 9am on 1st and 30th.  Wait until 9:45?
sure.  I'll do that.
Ok I'll be there around 9:45-10.  HAMMERFEST
was hoping to do RR/Bradley/Tweed Sat. AM but i've got an early reahearsal that day-- gonna head out tmrw around 130pm from GAP if anyone fancies stretching the legs. home 6ish?

Tomorrow - Monday.  Planning to roll early from BK, thinking 7am at the BB.  Any takers?
Oof. 8 @ GW? Oof. Wouldn't you rather go later when it's closer to 90 degrees? I was planning on riding long/hard. Closter Dock, Bradley, Water tower, up Rockland and old mountain back? Cramp City!!!

Jeff - me likey that plan.  All the more reason to go dumb early and be home at a decent hour.

I have to be fairly productive with my day off tomorrow, so I need an early start.  PM or email me.
Ok. I'm going later. Like 11 @ GW. NEXT TIME BROSEPHER
On Tuesday 6/15/13

I'm planning on being at the GWB between 9:20 and 9:30 for what will probably be about 115 miles.  First west to Ringwood, then around Ringwood to Harriman.  Ride 7 Lakes Drive across Harriman over to the Bear Mountain Bridge, and then home on the east side of the Hudson probably getting on the South county trailway at Ossining.
I'm going up tuesday the 25th, going to Piermont and back at 6am GWB pace will be high tempo/threshold.

@mugwump This sounds intriguing.  what time do you expect to get back?  I might come out and see how long I can hang on for...

I want to get back by 4pm.
I'll be there at 9:15.

With an extra bottle of electrolytes

Are you planning to climb Skyline?

skyline drive is part of the fun.
I'm in the market for some company thursday morning early - like 8am GWB - gotta field test and would love it if someone could follow me and jump around with two or 3 minutes to go for motivation...

I'll buy the muffins.
I thought you were on a rest week...
Jules, what's the plan?

I'm heading out tomorrow so I'll make sure to leave some gas in the tank for doppelganger hammerfest 2013.

I'm going out at the fambly-man hour (6am @ BB, 7am @ GDubbs) for Piermont(plus).  Need to be at work before 10am, so it should be about 65miles from BK and back.
@Owens plan is 8am GWB - warump heading N to state line and then cane it hell-bent-for-leather for a 3 mile stretch heading south.  Detour down Alpine and full gas up it once... limp home in time for mid-day meetings.

White Hot Dopplegangers
Hey all. I'm kid free this week and plan on over the bridge steady, not killer( long rides from Tuesday through Thursday mornings. Anyone want to join?
Living the dream.
The dream that ends quickly.
Yo, I'm trying to find fitness that I haven't had all season this week. Making up for senor collarbone. Over the GWB every day. Manhattan bridge at 6, GWB around 7. I'll look for white, orange, and blue but won't wait long as I've got to be ready for work in SoHo before 10. If anyone's there we'll ride. Just Alpine tomorrow, Piermont Tuesday. HOLLER!!!!!!

The best ones always do
So it turns out that 95 miles last Sunday with a group of 5 was fun. A similar 95 miles solo today has me wrecked. The cramping started after I stopped at Bertucco's house and chatted for a bit. Somehow I pushed through the various cramps.

Amusing things seen today. 1. Vollbach and Mueller waving hello just after I passed strictly and they were returning. 2. Mattie D. on a road (western highway), 3. Neil Bezdek as I rode over the Brooklyn bridge on the way home. He was doing field work with shirt unbuttoned, shorts on and canvas shows with no socks. Nice job.

After laying down for a bit after coming home, I tried getting up and WOW the PAIN(tm). Tried a couple more times. Holy holy holy. They seem to be subsiding now.
