JP get off your ass. Lets do this.
And you were where today?  While I love me a good Wednesday ride (and perhaps we could add Keith and Brendan to the mix for a nice fresh vs. aged hammerfest of fun) but work calls.

Sorry.  (but if Jules wants pictures of my feet up, I can provide)
Tomorrow or Friday then?
I may be able to join, let me know what time. earlier the better.
Wanna shoot for 9am @GW?
let's see what JP has in mind. If we could do 8am that'd be cool cause I'd like to be back before noon and also cause it might get really muggy and humid.
aargh.  No mornings for me until after Interbike.  Which is to write I'll be able to return to regularly scheduled programming two weeks from now.

you guys should go in afternoon then, I'm gonna start going to the gym easy peasy.
thought i had jury duty today but i don't.  willing to ride if anyone is still going.
I'm gonna shoot for tomorrow 10 @GW.
i'll be there...don't leave early!

Bueller? ...Bueller?
Sorry dude. Didnt check forum after 9. You missed nothing. Well, I got raced by an old lady when I tried to pass her on the GW and she proceeded to curse at me for invading her space. She has spinal fusion surgery, PTSD, gotten hit before, a Cervelo R3, helmet mirror and potty mouth. Therefore I shouldn't pass her. Uh. Ok!
jeff,

i am in hate with you.  i waited until 10:30.  then i pedaled all by my lonesome to the runcible spoon, where i ate a croissant stuffed with sadness and washed it down with a cup full of brown caffeinated misery.  after taking a long swig of loneliness from my bottle, i pulled over at the crest of a hill. a Fred asked me if i was okay.  i told him i was adjusting my front derailleur.  in truth, i was adjusting my expectations.  i pulled over because i couldn't ride with all the tears in my eyes.

sincerely,

brendan

p.s. i kid. had a great ride.  i should have confirmed with you yesterday.  my fault!

last-minute jaunt up RR to Piermont, anyone?  leaving brooklyn 8-9am tmrw....
Crossing over to Jersey tomorrow ( wednesday 9/25/13) for some unspecified ride of three hours or so in length.  Hope to roll out of my place around 9:30am, probably over the bridge at 9:45.

With no pictures, no on-the-fly tweets or blog updates, I'm skeptical that JP even went to Interbike. Either that or he went in the year 1987.

Edwin posted one photo, but unless @Yang is willing to sign an affidavit I'm saying it was 'shopped.
le sigh.

Yup, put in a good ride Tuesday morning with Edwin and Nick of Van Dessel, and another friend. The shot Edwin tweeted was just after we scared off a pack of wild coyotes.  A few other Kissenas were also in the house.  Monday was at least 106f, but Tuesday was several degrees cooler and there was a killer wind blowing all afternoon.  People were scared to ride, but I got in a nice session on a Look bike with 404s.

I'm rocking the yellow fluo Elvis socks today.

I didn't see the crit, but I rode the course as it was part of the "griddle" feature at IB.  Did the course on both an Electra cruiser and a Colnago with hydraulic rotor discs.  Narrow course, I assume it was strung out the entire race.

Didn't do the cross race.  Richard Fries worked overtime to make it seem like Trebon actually had a chance against Nys.

Didn't work hard enough :P
Kinda under the weather but planning on a tempo ride tomorrow.  Maybe just up Bradley and back.  Holla!
I'll be out for another round on Wednesday morning.  9:45 at the bridge is the goal.
Xing bridges tomorrow morning. 6am BB / 7am GWB. Then doing hill repeats on RR.
I could be wrong - but, getting the feeling it'll be me and the crickets on this one.

I'm doing some...dare i say it... "hill repeats" again tomorrow morning at RR. -- Regardless of the incendiary subject from the 'awesomer, faster, better thread'. BTW, I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the comments. It was sort of a jambalaya of great insights and vintage car interchange. It was kind of awesome.

anyways, Im at BB 6am on my forbidden morning ride :) cheers!

Hey Joel, I was thinking of heading out to RR from BK tomorrow morning as well. Just a quick ride back and forth from the GWB to the Ranger Station / Police Station / Court House / whatever. No repeats. Based on my previous RR times, I'll need to leave BK around 5am to get back home w/ time shower before work. Hope to see you out there!

Are you thinking being at BB 5am? I can rally for that nutty hour, no problem... Just so I'm clear. let me know if that's what you meant.

Yep, that's the crazy idea. BB at 5am, GWB by 6am, Alpine Ranger Station by 6:45am (typically takes me 30-32 mins from park entrance to the station, but I like giving myself some wiggle room to avoid work tardiness, and I'll be watching my downhill speeds tomorrow...), ideally back to GWB before 7:30am after a snack and some water, and home by 8:30am. Just a quick 50mi before work.
I'm planning something similar for this Thursday with Graydon. 6:30am @ BB though, since I can just roll in straight to work after the ride.
