I know re-scheduling is a nightmare, but is the weekend of Dec.15 and 16 a possibility. Last race of the MAC series is 12/9. Don't know what your plans are re: re-entering the MAC schedule next year, but wouldn't imagine this conflict would help.

I also worry that by December 15/16 folks are pretty deep into "getting ready for the holidays," and basically shutting down their cross season.

December 8/9, we're already going to get some of that...

I think the earlier in the season we can get SuperCross scheduled, the better. This way, even those adverse to driving to Long Island, might suck it up and come because they are getting ready for their own personal "A" priority event a few weeks later.

Hey, so my aunt and uncle didn't get an email telling them NOT to go to the park to look for the bike races. After I apologized profusely for messing up with the email, my super nice uncle was like, no big deal, it was a beautiful day for a drive, people were out in the park playing golf...

Funny, Myles had that exact same golf argument with parks people.

I saw the park earlier this week....They had tents EVERYWHERE in the main lot we use. Liability was the issue..Those tents are freaking HUGE...

I am offering my house - 3 miles from park, 2 car garage, as a place where we can wash bikes Saturday and Sunday after the race. The garage can be used for storage if people are racing Sunday who don't want to bring their bikes home. I also have a full compliment of tools and a workstand if anyone needs. And i also have room for a keg.......It is super convenient and my door is open..

He's listed in the cx club championships, he's scheduled to race, and line up right next to me at Sterling/Baystate, he's been racing a fair amount this year, but doesn't appear to list a team in his results. I can't seem to find a mention of him in the "introduce yourself" thread...

Wondering why the old Supercross location not being used this year. FEMA still there?

Hy Guys. It would seem that supercross is taking place next weekend. We're planning a course inspection this Sunday, at Eisenhower park, say at.....1pm. That will give us a few hours to check stuff out, and plan a new course. With this being an alternate course. Its a lot different than previous ones. Come Check it out, and see what can be done. For those traveling in, it is going to be held at the aquatic center/safety town. We've got parking and...a lot of grassy areas to figure out. That's what we know. Iterested? no,  it had something to do with action around the memorial near the course, i was there earlier this week doing some recon for myles on the area around the aquatic center for the new course, and did not see much going on over there....but i believe that was the reason given.

So here is my story....I raced SCCX on 11/25 with Patrick in the 40+ Cat 4 field. As he said in his race report, we did not wait around for results because we were quite cold enough already thank you very much. When the results were posted two days later, I was placed 12th. I noticed that the 11th place rider was recorded as one lap down, but was placed ahead of me. Patrick had told me after the race that the rider ahead of me was one down. For a couple days i did nothing, but then decided to try to correct it because my goal for my first serious (for me) cross season was to finish in the top 50% of a majority of my races as posted on crossresults.com. Well, a few e-mails to the race director and bikereg were able to get it straightened out, and I am now recorded as 11th for that race. No big deal in the grand scheme of things, but now my personal goal for the season will more than likely be achieved. Moral of the story is, if you feel that you have been wronged, you can get it fixed without too much trouble. It took me barely 12 hours (6 of which I was asleep) to get the race director, USAC, NJCC, and crossresults to make the correction. The race promoter wants to fix it, because USAC issues them the permit (and they want one again next year), and USAC wants it fixed because they issue the permit. See you guys Sunday

Anyone going with their family Saturday or otherwise not racing during the Cat 4 at 3:15 and wouldn't mind keeping an eye on my 6 yr old son Eli? Trying to work out logistics with my wife who may not be able to come. You'll need to keep his eyes averted while I vomit on course.

Dude needs 30-ish UCI points to be considered for World's. He's actually probably one of the strongest Canadian pros racing CX right now, but had some bad luck at Canadian Nationals. A couple of wins this weekend sure would look good on his resume.

I'll be out super early probably leaving Brooklyn 5 or 6 am. Might race the club thing. Might race the 2/3/4. Might not race at all. I might have space in the car. Definitely if someone has a trunk rack.

That's over 10% of the field. Now, who knows if all of those Staten Island carry-overs are going to show, regardless, that's too big a group to really try and coordinate a team effort like we did at Bubble Cross.

BUT, if you find yourself in the thick of it, at the front, and you've got a teammate off the front, do what you gotta do, but I'm going to suggest you let someone else do the work of chasing him down. I can easily envision for example a scenario where Mueller's off the front with another rider with me and Jules and Grehan and de Baca not too far behind. Now you can bet, I'm going to try like hell to get up to him clean and free of any stormtroopers, but if I've got a bad guy glued to my wheel, I'm certainly not going to help the Empire get up to my teammate, you know?

Also as likely is most of us Kissena's locked into our own little battles throughout the race, throughout the field. If you are with a teammate, say, 25 guys back, then I would suggest ride hard, ride like gentlemen together, to improve your overall group's position throughout the early laps. In the last lap or so when it's a battle for 23 or 20th place for example, all bets are off and pummel each other into the ground. You know...have fun!
