Holy 馃挬!聽
Have you all seen the behind the scenes Tour of Flanders videos? Mark posted a link earlier this month. Last night I watched the 2016 and 2017 editions and they are AMAZING!
The production quality is great with cameras in the team cars, and with all sorts of staff related to the race. What is great is that the video editors aren鈥檛 shy about using candid conversations during the race from officials, organizers and media people. Yes it includes in car DS conversations, but it feels like this was taken to another level of behind the scenes.聽

They do a nice job of synchronizing footage so you get some play by play of various reactions to events (on and off course) as they develop. The filmmakers include bits where DS鈥檚 make fun of the tour radio announcers, catch exchanges complaining about the cameras in cars, and watch officials argue with motorcycle photographers who get kicked out of the tour for riding in the bike lane.聽
I鈥檝e got more to say, but all you really need to know that it is worth your time if you are looking to be entertained and appreciate a different perspective on one of the best races of the year.聽
One more thought. Now that Flanders Classics (who produce these videos and the race) are running the CX World Cup races, I hope they produce a behind the scenes at the World Cup races... whenever they actually happen
