One of the things I loved about the movie were other cyclists that figured where Morton was and waited to ride with him. So much awesome.

I enjoyed the part where the guy was absolutely determined to give Lachlan a beer

Cool stuff...
does anyone subscribe to Flobikes? I'm curious of the pros/cons between Flobikes, NBC Sports Gold, various vpn steams, etc.

I'm willing to pay for quality but also want to consider what races are covered. Flobikes seems to have most road races, but $150 for a year (no monthly option) is pretty steep. NBC Sports Gold is cheaper but doesn't have all the races.

Would love to hear other people's experience
I have both NBC and Flo. They cover completely difference races. I like Flo for the Giro and range of CX races. Has been nice to have a good live feed without hassles on laptop, phone, AppleTV etc. VPNs are a good alternative if you are trying to save some money. Personally, I figure that paying extra to support these companies makes it more likely that they will continue to flourish and offer euro racing in US, so I don't mind giving them $ for a good product.

BTW, GCN just announced a competitor to Flobikes. I liked their CX cover last season - mainly because JPow gave good commentary. Not sure of the price point, but if GCN has the races you want, you might want to go for that
Thanks Patrick yea I would love to support GCN but the road races they cover in the US look limited. The Flobikes library of US road races seems to include most of the biggies (including ones like the Tour which NBC also includes). I might spring for it...
Will - Note that Flobikes does NOT carry the Tour in the US. Only in Canada. (otherwise I might have ditched NBC for Flo - but NBC also had the World Cup CX races and World Championships on road and CX - gotta have my CX). NBC owns the exclusive rights for Tour distribution in US. Flo might give recaps or analysis, but not the full tour stages. For that you need NBC or a VPN
ah i see. that looks like some false advertising on their end - they list "tour de france"  on their schedule but don't say they don't have the rights. hmm
Anyone having issues watching races on the GCN app? I've had no luck getting any actually races to load in their Race TV.
@James Reeder i know they georestrict most of their races in the US since they don't have the rights. it looks like the first race you can stream in the US is the Tour de Pologne starting tomorrow:

Was great to see Roglic working for the team

Dumoulin was as well, and has been thusfar.

Made me wonder if Domoulin is paying it forward for the Tour.

OTOH, Froome was off the back.  For a guy who seems pretty even-keeled, he sure has a flair for drama.

Think Prudhomme has been on the phone to him, <<Chris, there is a lot of competition for space in the news right now. It would be great if we could build speculation as to whether or not you are back to your best. Oui, d'accord¿>>

Also Jumbo-Visma look incredibly strong across all of their major 'protagonistes' however I wonder if they are peaking too soon?
Bennet killed whatever other race he was racing too.

When will the jumbo wishers start?
It feels a little weird watching bike racing rn, but the Dauphine has been super exciting. Jumbo got a lot of well deserved screen time and I noticed that it looks like they're riding in different kit? I don't think thats a leader's jersey or national champs kit?
Looks like I am going to be betting the house on a Roglic TdF win.
@RobertMullen
I am not sure how he got it (because Wout won stage 1) but that's Roglic in the leader's Yellow Jersey.

Slovenian national champion jersey.

Supposedly, those black Bianchis have less paint that the shiny Celeste-and-Black bikes; speculation is it saves weight.
@RobertMullen
sorry I take it back, that's the Slovenian national champs Jersey.

Also
Production disc-brake Oltre XR4 bikes with similar components to what Jumbo-Visma uses regularly come in nearly a full kilo over the UCI limit
