Definitely. Two other things - one technical, one not.

Technical: get yourself some kind of a better mic. Either a lapel-clip style or something like a Blue Snowball. Makes a huge difference.

The big thing though is something you didn't touch on much - hyponatremia. Heat kills fast -not necessarily dehydration. Of course the two are linked but people are often tempted to float themselves to oblivion which is super dangerous.

You allude to this (I'm confident you know it well) in the water on your body as much as inside.

All that said, I think Heat Safety has two main messages:

1. Avoid getting overheated
2. Ingesting water beyond what you are sweating doesn't help with #1 and can be deadly

Ah, Jules, you beat me to the punch. I was about to post that as well. For anyone who has not read The Rider... go out and get it now. Read it once. Twice. Like an interval to be performed yearly, re-read it before every racing season begins. If you can, read the book before seeing the video, because it does give away the ending a little bit.

Has to be out of this world amazing to reach Paris, the city is obviously monumental and beautiful, but that it completely closes, and then... omg riding thru the Louvre, did you see Uran's reaction? -- and then as they go thru the Arc de Triomphe these planes. All to celebrate, simply, what you've done.

I got to see the Tour on the Champs in 2011. The BMC bus had a slew of stuffed lions in the front window for all the days that Cadel had been in Yellow. Family enjoyed it

will say however, that shotgun, only one kill, and the rockhopper, maybe make that the closest you get to a bklyn approved hunt.

I don't know much about long guns, but seems to be cheating to use a shotgun to shoot a bird.  Too many pellets to pull out.

The artisanal hipster would probably want a small single-shot rifle, preferably used and hand made, with lovingly restored metalwork and a rich, clear-coated stock.
