Stomach comfort? Like feeling bloated?
Assuming you aren't sick, I would imagine the issue would be your stomach's ability to process the nutrition. Water and simple sugars/amino acids do not need to be processed. The transporters just pick them up and put them into the blood stream. Much of this will be passive because you have a concentration gradient between the intestine and blood. Complex carbohydrates and protein needs to be broken down into simple sugars and amino acids. During exercise (and sleep), blood is diverted away from the stomach (and more to the point your intestine where the uptake takes place) so these active processes are slower and your stomach/intestine stays full longer and I suppose this may feel uncomfortable when your diaphram is working hard to push air in and out of your lungs, thus squashing your stomach and everything else in your abdomen into a smaller space.
Again, I'm not an MD and only an amateur physiologist. I'm kind of making up a certain amount of this explanation based on my common sense understanding of how things work.
