Adam Myerson announced today there will be no NECX this year as NOHO has been included in new USA Cycling ProCX calendar of 11 races including Rochester, Charm City and Really Rad Festival of CX. Does this mean that HPCX rejoins MAC, and what about Supercross?

we’ll have to wait and see, I think unsurprisingly the cx calendar for 2021 is gonna be dramatically different — at least happy that some relatively big races are happening at driving distance from NYC

Basically these are ALL the UCI races in the US. DCCX will run, but not under the UCI, HPCX and Supercross will also not be UCI events. This is a significant departure from 2019.

Bad news and good news. The bad news is no MAC series this fall. The good news is that the individual races can still happen.
We regret to inform everyone that the, Mid Atlantic Cyclocross series, will not be taking place again this year. The uncertainty with mass start events, along with state and local limits, make it difficult to coordinate events in various locations.
We're hoping the series is able to return in 2022. And to that degree, any feedback or suggestions, in regard to what the series would look like in the future, is appreciated.
Stay safe & fit out there, keep honing your cross skills, and support local races. Cross is coming!

The world changed full on last year, and as vaccine rolls out and numbers go down, it will change again.
We need to be comfortable with the idea that many things, including cyclocross, will look very different than before. I like the idea of being mindful and aware as to what and how we want to rebuild.

Maybe Vittoria is looking to increase production and offer a 'halo' product for well-heeled masters 'crossers.
I've never installed a Dugast, but I have installed and ridden an FMB tubular. Like butter. Most supple casing I've ever worked with.
I bring it it because I'm wondering if they might be looking at taking the casing tech and bringing it to a wider audience--and possibly dropping the price in so doing. Would be interesting to see a clincher in that casing. Though I can't vouch for durability thereof.

I picked up a set (Typhoons) for the 2020 2021 season. Obviously haven't raced on them yet.
Last summer I ran Challenge 'open tubular' Grifos on gravel and rocky rooted singe track. Love those cotton casings! 400+ miles and have had zero durability issues so far.

I had a pair of dugasts several years ago. Lovingly put aquaseal on the sidewalls. Shifted to less labor intensive tubulars since then
