This thread is getting weird...
The aluminator is awesome, and high on my list to be my next bike. I would contact Edwin directly and ask him what kinda deal he can give you.Marc Bertucco said:
Crossers, what do you think of this "deal?"

get the canti' version. Not only are discs a hassle you probably don't want, but these have mechanical discs.eloy said:The aluminator is awesome, and high on my list to be my next bike. I would contact Edwin directly and ask him what kinda deal he can give you.Marc Bertucco said:

(not that there is a significant difference, but the performance deal is on the 2014 frame)

Merlin is awesome! I just discovered them. I bought an ultegra 6700 12-23 cassette for $45.39 shipped and a schwalbe tubular for $63 shipped (comp cyclist $130). Cassette arrived in 8 days, tire in 10. They take paypalChi said:yeah their stuff are mostly overpriced
if you want go for cheap go to UK webstores like merlin
I ordered a cassette from a UK company, I think BikeTiresDirect or someplace similar and the cassette came in a plain, brown cardboard box...instead of a shimano printed box. And a zip tie that held everything together. It was weird. The cogs were new, but why no official Shimano box?Rick Perner said:Merlin is awesome! I just discovered them. It's a big deal for camera parts.mugwump said:Ian,
I've never heard "grey imports." But "grey market" is probably the origin. Grey market is not quite black market--taking advantage of grey areas in the agreements they've signed to gain a financial edge.

Anyone know if KCC gets a discount on BeetElite?
I guess I misheard/misunderstood something here or there. Found some coupon codes if anyone else is interested.Jeffrey White said:From what sponsor?Marc Bertucco said:

Just order a set of those tires Mark. Great deal. Thanks for the heads upMarc Bertucco said:
If you are still buying 23c tires, this seems like a pretty good deal. Get two for $35 each (you have to buy 2 or more to get 50% discount). I like these tires because they are plump and grippy.
