Did you use 5 stickers per number?  Were you able to put the numbers on your back while wearing the skin suit?

I used 4 pieces (one on each corner) and asked Rob to attach the number to the jersey (after I had attached the tape to the number). Worked fine

I dunno man; meticulously pinning up a jersey draped over my knees is part of the whole process for me. Not sure I'd be willing to give it up even if it did mean fewer "holy" jerseys.

An FYI for those of you who need batteries, particularly coin cells and rechargeables...

There's a Brooklyn-based company that I've been using for some time.  Prices seem really good, they seem to have every size I need, they ship fast, and appear to be locally owned.

My reommendation is Eneloop rechargeable.  Once we started getting in to kids toys, i realized the value of AA and AAA rechargable batteries.  The only thing is that when we give away their old battery-powered toys, I have to make sure to remove the batteries.

Most applications work out okay, but I've had issues where where NiMh AAs and AAAs don't provide enough voltage at around 1.2v vs the standard 1.5v for alkalines. Random example being a larger wall clock that uses AAs that couldn't keep accurate time on rechargeables but works great on alkalines.

Initially when Velonews got taken over by Outside I expected higher prices for content that I didn't care about. Recently I have been pretty surprised and pleased by what you get for your money. 

A subscription to Outside+ is currently discounted to $55. The stand out value for me with this deal is that you get a $60 BikeReg credit. Yes, you get $30 towards a race and $30 towards bikereg fees. Plus they recently added a free subscription to Trailforks Pro which is probably the best app for mountain bike trails. They've got a number of other perks which may or not be of value including whether you want to subscribe to VeloNews. 

Overall, this seems to be a package which includes aspects I will actually use and figure you might be interested as well. Here is the link for the current discount

I would assume that "higher prices for content that I don't care about" is coming.

They seem to have investor money to grow big.  I figure they have about three years or so to make good on their initial promises.  By then, I think they've stated they want something like 75% of their income to be derived from consumers rather than advertisers. 

As they own PinkBike, CyclingTips, Beta, Triathlete, Bicycle Retailer, as well as VN and Outside (there are some others I'm forgetting), they've created something that makes written cycling media appear to be close to a duopoly in the US, with Bicycling the other.  Internationally, there's the British Future Publishing--Bike Perfect, CyclingNews, Cycling Weekly, MBR, ProCycling.  

While they're not totally narrowly sticking to their "lanes" at the moment, I see signs they're starting to streamline.  VeloNews has cut down on product reviews, which I think goes to CyclingTips.  Industry news, like the founder of Rapha stepping down, was covered by CyclingTips and then pushed to Bicycle Retailer and VeloNews.
