Can we take this over to the weight loss thread?
50% off seems like a lot.

Former Kissena member, Edie Perkins, is selling her brand new Stinner Romero Size 50cm.

She received this frame a day before her terrible accident.

Those are Rich Weinstock bikes. He used to do marketing for Van Dessel around 2010. The bikes are probably in tip top shape. You should go the normal ebay route, but if anyone wants, I can put them in touch with Rich directly.
Any chance there might be another Redbeard bulk order soon/this year? Would be even more awesome if cassettes were included. Thanks!

@bruce All good options. While there may be some deals too good to pass up, don’t forget to check with Redbeard and give them an opportunity to meet your needs at a similar price. While it feels good for a short time to get a great deal, it will feel better in the long term to have the support of a successful and thriving bike shop. #shoplocal

Whoop is having a 2 for one sale on their fitness tracker through Cyber Monday. It differs from other trackers in that it measures heart rate variability, resting heart rate and sleep to give you feedback on when to train harder and when to recover more.

The strap usually costs $180 which includes a 6 month subscription after which it costs $30 a month. Sorta costly, but we spend more money on frames and wheels in hopes they make us faster. I am curious if this is as helpful as some reviews suggest.

Current promotion is to get 2 straps/memberships for the price of one. Anyone else interested enough to get one with me?

I'm tempted by the Whoop but the fact that it doesn't have a watch face is kind of a deal breaker for me. I was never a watch person until I got a Garmin to track some cross-training and found that having a watch on my wrist allows me to check the time without getting lost in phone land.

From what I understand, Wahoo is coming out with a watch at some point in the not too distant future and I'm hoping they will incorporate some of the analytics that the Whoop is featuring.
Stages is blowing out some shimano 105 power meters. They are listing them for $320, which is a steal, but you may want to check with redbeard as you might be able to get them for even less with the shop discount

This winter I learned about TNR tape from the CX Hairs podcast. It is a double sided tape used to affix your racing number to your jersey/skinsuit. I was especially interested in using it for cross as pinning up a number while you are in a skin suit is a royal pain. One of TNR's "testers" is Van Dessel's Sunny Gilbert who used it in her podium finishing Nationals race. I figured if it could handle a muddy nationals course, it was ready to go.

I ordered some this spring and tried it out at the last two L&C Cup races. It's not perfect, but it works well. Essentially you put four pieces of double stick tape on the back of your number and attach to your kit. Afterwards it peels right off your kit. Mo mess. No pin holes. My only caution is that the first time I tried it I raced in a jacket and left the tape on a bit long, so it did not come off as easily. I used a bit of goof off and it came off without a hassle.

You can get enough tape for 10 numbers for $25. Worth it? That's up to you. I figure I will use it with skinsuits as well as with kit that I don't want to put pin holes into. I've had some email correspondence with the company and they offered the club a 15% discount. So help yourself to the following coupon code: PATRICKGREHAN2019

Thanks @PatrickGrehan! I just ordered some so that my silly antics in the portapotty doesn’t happen again.
Awesome, Patrick!! I got one of their tester set somewhere, I think Dave Sommerville swears by then. I'll give them a try this weekend and probably order some.
invested in the trial pack. @RichFreeman i wonder if they work well w leg warmers / wardrobe malfunctions??  ;)
I was wondering about the aero benefits....
You get to be more like Patrick. What more can you ask?
