Can I squeeze in for the 28th? thx.
I have to bail on Wednesday night, so alyoshas can use my spot. I seem to have forgotten about our theater tickets . . .
Wed Dec 28th (tomorrow!)

Dec 28th, 6PM:
8 slots filled, game on
6 yes: Ted(sub for Sarah), Vlad, John Malcomson, Jeff White, , Alyosha Smolarski, Eric Ragot
2 if need be: Jeff Owens, Mitch Sonies

Dec 28th, 7:45PM:Cancelled, Happy Holidays

Have fun guys!
Ragot's Computrainer had a meltdown at the start... allowing the Cat 1 trackie from Melbourne to fight it out with Vlad for the spoils.
Yeah. I love how I waited for Ragot, then tried to work with him and the gruppeto and then he takes off at end. Bad coach! It was fun tho. Shouldn't have done the Alpine repeats prior. Durrrrrrrr
Must klimb hill. Can't really slow down. Must stay in aloyosha draft. Oh no Jeff getting dropped. He rode 4 hours already. He killed me on hills in real life. Just hang on. This sucks. Hang on. Top is almost near. This sucks.

Tip. Don't have your comoutrainer spot the group half a mile. They don't wait.

Thanks Jeff.
Must beat Ragot. Israeli centrifuge virus working as planned... Mwahaha... Mwahahahaahhaha!
You princesses need to toughen up. I've dropped my chain 4 times in last two sessions.
Mechanical excuses? Check who your mechanic is. I can only blame myself and I don't drop chains.
Those are some solid numbers across the board, ya'll.

Looking forward to getting back to the USA. I've done nothing but lay on the beach and eat cheese for far too long now.
free spot for wed...anyone?
Aly, I'll take it
hah no i want the spot, i was asking if anyone wanted to relinquish theirs.
re Wed night's computrainer - - the interwebs went down right after I posted the list above (ok, ok, it wasnt the interwebs, it was just kissena.info) ...

I have a handful of emails to rank and sort - I am away for work but will try hard to get something posted by this evening with who "won" on the drawing straws part so you can plan your evening for tomorrow.

-Joshua
I'm back, and interested in a spot if one frees up
Based on previous doodle responses, tonight at 6pm is cancelled, and 7:45pm is full . We have more interest post doodle though.

1) David Stearns
2) Derek Chiles
3) Joe Mueller
4) Neil Ross
5) Jorge Aguilo
6) Eric Ragot
7) Vlad
8) Jeff White

wait list:
a) John Malcomson
b) Aly
c) Jules
d) Perlberg (only if 6pm)

Would folks want to do both sessions with 6 a session ? It brings it from 17.50 to 22.75 per person for the week ?

Is there any interest for some extra subs ? Stokes ? Owens ? Nosson ? Now is the time . Sorry I can't be there this week, but see you all on Sunday's ride and next Wednesday night.
Ryan was interested
I am bummed that my 7:45 spot was polled away while I was on vacation. Can any of the doodle-confirmed 7:45 crew switch to the 6pm? -Norm
I can't make 6pm today - most likely. So, I'd otherwise switch. Sorry.
Does anyone have clip-on aero bars I could borrow please?
Aly, I do.

I live in williamsburg, but not coming to computrainer tonight. Where you at?
awesome, thanks. im literally at grand army plaza.
Guys. Struggling with filling the 6pm tonight... Ryan possibly, still leaves at least 3 spots.

Any 7.45ers want to double-up?

Please forward on invite to anyone you think might be keen... non-club members too.

School girls, hampsters, high bike riders welcome
I did 90 sad, sad minutes on my trainer... Watching Walking Dead.
Ended up just being Aly, Nosson and myself for 6pm... one of those saw-tooth geometric courses (19.7m).
Alyosha and I were ping-ponging on the climbs/descents. Aly had an unfair advantage riding tri-bars (something to do with his fractured wrist being in a full arm cast). Nosson, not far behind, managed to ride his bike out off the trainer—too strong! We waited for 3000 clicks or so (that's right Eric). Aly attacked hard with about .3 of a mile and made me dig deep to come back at him. Not sure on the averages (thanks Neil)... 256w for me. Aly? Nosson?

What happened to the 7.45 fight club? Looked like it was going to be a doozy.
Ummm, people rode hard at the start. Vlad, Joe, Derek and I were off the front soon. I attacked a bunch of times, shed Derek, then shed Joe and Vlad before the halfway point, so I waited for them to come back. Then did the rope-a-dope a few times to knock Vlad off for good. Stuck with Joe up the big climb and did some more rope a dope but let Joe back on. Vlad asked if I was doing intervals. Nah, just playing.

At the end, Joe and I were coming in together and he flatted close to the end.

Low watts - 262 or so on my Quarq, 246 on the Computrainer. But with the door open to frigid temperatures, I doubt the calibration was super accurate either on the computrainers or the Quarq. My feet were super cold (sweaty).

I love getting fewer watts than the others... He he he.
I will be out next week. Anyone would like to take my spot in the Jan. 11th 7:45 session?
I'll take it.

I'm looking for a spot for next week...if anyone cannot make it, please let me know.
