Winter Computrainer Rides

The computer knows (and displays) the distance you are behind the rider in front of you. Between 10 and 40 feet the distance shows red and your resistance goes down.
Gotcha, thanks!
perhaps I could improve on this figure with some drafting...

pretty avg numbers for a 215 lb rider, but I just started working on it .. roughly half of the effort spent in the drops..

this was done on my aluminum bike with a mavic open pro/conti hometrainer tire setup on a kurt kinetic road machine.

used two gears the whole time: 53-17 and 53-19. Used the easier gear mostly for 95-105 rpm rest intervals. 17 can be too hard and 19 too easy at times. Think I need an 18 in the mix.

Also, how does someone non-Kissena get added to the sub list? An NCVC friend of my brothers just moved up here.
Jeff - send me their email address and I will send them an email when a sub gets posted. I have a couple of names I email.

Computrainer gang - if you can't make it and need a sub, please also email me in addition to the forum posting (in case I don't check the forum immediately).

thanks.
@Kaiser: an hour at 22 mph is no joke on a trainer by yourself. Hard to tell but it looks like the second half was faster than the first, which is a very good sign.

Keep at it!
Thanks man, I'll have to come down for a session sometime...interested to try it.
very far in advance buy I will be out for the 2/22 6PM session if someone wants it this far in advance.
I normally WFH on Wednesdays then do the computrainer (since I work in CT)....but I just got some funky news at work and may need to be in the office tomorrow.

If someone wants my 7:45pm computrainer spot please let me know . If I find a sub great, if I don't I'll try to make it in anyway
Ill take it! Muchas gracias.
Is there any open sessions tom?

I won't be able to be today and next Wednesday for the 7:45 session.
Anyone interested in taking my spot?
Let me know asap...
Im going to try to get on for 6 or else I will do the 7:45
Nosson - take Jorge's 7:45 please.
Actually, I went a few rounds with a stomach bug last night and this morning. There's no way a computrainer session is a good idea for me tonight. So someone can have my 6 if they want it.
Dude, you're so light now. Reset the computrainer weight and you'll fly...
Mitch is out tonight as well, that leaves TWO VACANT SPOTS that need filling...
Any 7.45ers up for the double-up?
(for 6pm slot that is)
I would like to double-up --so, if a 6pm slot is open, I'm in! -Norm
I think it's yours Norm, Josh to confirm.
Id rather do the 6 I dont think I could do both
OK, we have filled both the empty spots for 6pm!
Norm and someone from Saturday morning class—Jerry Speier.

Is everyone else AOK/on target — Juuuuules!?
@ Nosson, I think we have a full house @ 6pm—you'll have to stick to 7.45pm
that's not fare I said I wanted 6 first!
I think Nosson is right; he was the first to even express interest in the 6 p.m. class. Maybe Jerry Speier wants to do the 7:45 class? 6 is fast approaching, so this should be handled very soon.
agreed - although I can't play compu-cop right now to help figure it all out.

Please work this out amongst yourselves.

SUBS - remember - you should be paying 17.50 a session to me so that I can credit the people who don't make it.
PS - when I said "Nosson - take Jorge's 7:45 please. " - there was no 6pm slot.
I don't know what to do should I come for 6 or not?
I think unless Malcolmson says otherwise (he filled the two spots) you'd better come to the 7:45.
ok 7:45 it is
josh - what's your e-mail/pay pal info so i can pay you for january? also - how much do i owe you? alyosha subbed for me last week...

no hurry on a response - whenever you have a second....sounds like you're pretty swamped at work.
