The word is there is a problem at the manufacturer in Italy and they are now slated to come in mid June. I'm following up to get a revised update.

Regarding the helmets - still slated to arrive at the warehouse mid-June. Figure another week after that for them to get to Brooklyn.

Marc - you did miss it. Ritchey's program is quarterly, as noted above, and our next order window won't be until Aug/Sept timeframe. So it depends on what you call "road season".

As mentioned before, John Neugent of the former Neuvation, is opening a custom wheel shop. He is providing a 20% discount to Kissena members.
The store is now open and you can order at http://www.neugentcycling.com. There are a few issues but that shouldn't stop you from ordering. Right now the payment needs to take place via paypal, though you can use that to pay with a credit card. Also, there is no way to enter a discount code. In lieu of entering the discount code, please write in that you are a member of Kissena in the comments section and he will provide the 20% discount on his end. He will first confirm with me you are a member, so don't go sharing this deal with non-club members.
Also, he doesn't have all of the options available. In particular, there are no carbon tubulars on the site and there are other carbon clinchers that aren't up yet. He will be able to make those and I believe he has some inventory but just hasn't gotten to uploading on the site, so please email him with any questions about the other options.
I'll do what I can to answer any questions.

These come in at about $320....which is a great deal. If you are looking for light, stiff & wide race wheels...these will get it done. My carbon Neuvations have held up great...but these don't require switching pads and if you crack a rime they'll be cheap to fix.

Mark that is where I bought mine....Craig the Laser spokes weigh the same as the CXrays... cxrays are nice....but I believe them to be a money grab

it is .4 watts at 25 mph where most of us race...that whopping 1 watt figure is for 30mph...which is approaching downhill speeds at Prospect in which case I'm looking for my brake lever anyway. Instead of spending $100 for .4 watts...I'll just shave my nostril hairs before a race....free speed WHAM !!!! (drop the mic)

Maybe it's just marketing hype, but I remember reading somewhere that CX-rays were stronger than Lasers and therefore better for cross. I may even have read that on the neuvation site. Lasers should be fine for road racing as long as you are skinny Yacks. Big burly Yacks might want the stout build of cx-rays.

Patrick...that was no help at all as I've found myself in a state between skinny yacks and big burly yacks. I've become a bit of a hybrid. Perhaps I can have a "hybrid" wheelset assembled with drive side cx rays and laser non-drive side?

Marc, those wheels are awesome, and are an incredible deal, washers or not. I have a set (bought when the co was still nuevation) which I raced last cross season and at some road races this summer. Got the lazers rather than the x-rays. 1320 grams is stupid light. You inspected them at CycleSmart and lamented that you had missed the deal window. Do not hem and haw over this. Tubulars in cross is an eye opening experience. You will kick yourself for not having done it sooner.

Those are a great wheelset, modern fat profile, nice brake track. And RAP is a steal for racers. You ride the bike into a wall and shatter both wheels into a million pieces, NQA replacement.
