There is no payment due upon ordering. You will pay in full upon receipt of the Stages PM most likely in January (late Dec is possible). The order window will remain open for 2 weeks - until Nov 16. There will only be one other order window in 2015, in the June / July timeframe with delivery about a month later.If you plan on having a Stages PM for the road season and want to take advantage of the deal now is the time to order. Cats 1 & 2 get 50% off the list price and all others get 25% off. You must be a USAC licensed rider. All info on the PMs can be found on the Stages site at:

Sponsor update for 2015
1. Bike shop sponsor - Not that there was anything wrong with Ride Brooklyn, but we were approached by another bike shop to sponsor the club. As a result, we have signed a deal with Redbeard Bikes. http://www.redbeardbikes.com Terms of the deal are similar or slightly better than that of Ride Brooklyn. There are two "discount" levels (123, mentor & juniors) and (4/5). The discounts aren't actually discounts but will be cost plus. Cost plus 15% and cost plus 25% respectively. 10% discounts on other bikes (Parlee, Lynsky & Brompton). Bike fittings are 25% off. Ride Brooklyn will continue to be our sponsor through Dec 31 and Redbeard commences on Jan 1, with the exception of the Stages power meter and bike orders commencing now. Ilya is the owner and is excited about working with us. Wilson Goode a KCC member is a wrench at the shop. We'll be working with Ilya on a number of other programs for products. It should be noted that the owner of Ride Brooklyn was very gracious and we parted on very good terms. Please be gracious and respectful as we close out the year with them.
2. Stages - as you've all heard, we have a deal with Stages. This is being facilitated through Redbeard. The current order window is now open. Please see above for ordering details. There will be another order window in July. Sign-up is through the end of this coming weekend. An email blast will go out to membership providing a reminder. Cat 1 & 2 (Cat 1 MTB) get 50% off Stages power meters, all other cats get 25% off.
3. Bikes - with the change in shop sponsor, we needed to change bike sponsor. We will be sponsored by Giant this year. Same deal as Cannondale in all respects as the past couple of years. 40% and 20% discounts. Giant would like orders as early as possible to avoid any supply chain issues like we had with Cannondale this past summer. I'll provide more details on ordering shortly.
4. Champ-Sys - Same deal as previously. Possible fix to the sock issue too.
5. Sixpoint Brewery will be a sponsor for 2015 and 2016. We'll do some joint marketing, such as a cycling themed event at one of Sixpoint's bar accounts, or events at Redbeard with Sixpoint beer. They'll also be a sponsor of SuperCross for '15 and '16
6. OSMO - continuing same partnership as in the past.
7. Helmets - Still working on either extending Rudy or something new. More to come.

Also any pricing from Six-Point on full kegs? I am going to use them purely for training...you know squats, dead lifts & various other cross-fit type stuff... that's all...really...

Neugent was never an official sponsor. More of just a friendly relationship. As far as I know, he is still offering us the same deal.

I am sad to see our relationships with Ride Brooklyn and Cannondale end, and am appreciative of what they have provided the club over the past two years. Having said that, I look forward to the new sponsors (especially six point) and thank Craig (and any other board member who worked behind the scenes) for his hard work as sponsorship director.

Just got my Neugent Cycling wheels in the mail, and got back from my first ride on them. So far, they feel like and responsive, and look pretty nice. I ordered a Powertap rear, Neugent front hub setup. Sapim Lazer spokes, 20/24. Due to low markup, he only did 10% discount on the Powertap rear, but still provided 20% off the front wheel. Total with shipping came to $920, and he threw in skewers.

Total with shipping came to $920, and he threw in skewers.Jesse...for a road bike I would say why not get the club deal on the stages meter and then buy a complete wheelset from Neugent = same price or cheaper than what you got...BUT for cyclocross I think the powertap is a better option due to water leakage issues with Stages. Those of you going with a Stages meter for cross I would recommend some protection for that crank arm...might as well go with the dimpled variety as everyone knows dimples cut through the wind better...(why does my brain function this way ?)

For the record, I have not had water issues with either of my stages arms... and I've ridden or had them on the roof in multiple monsoons.
