I'm definitely interested - but I don't know the venues. Cunningham is too small, but I really hated jungle habitat

Edit:
I was thinking Cunningham or Stillwell but would be amenable to other spots if the logistics worked i.e. 4 bikes/riders and my time constraint

With all this enthusiasm I'm going to see if i can ride do an MTB ride Sunday morning.And in the department of Who Asked Your Opinion Department, here are my thoughts on the places mentioned and others:
Williams Lake (caves) is great riding with some technical stuff in there. The drive up is a good 2 hours plus from Brooklyn. Worth it for the riding though. Check to make sure that you'll have legal access as it sits on private land and the rules are strange about when you are and when you are not allowed legal access. Call Christian (the promoter)at Favata's Table Rock Bikes at (845) 658-7832 to find out the scoop on access and whether anything will be marked out yet for next weekend's race.
I haven't been to Sprain Ridge since I rode there on a minibike as a kid in the 70's though I hear that it's fairly technical. Is that right Gwynna?.
For the 1-1/2 to 2 hour drive, I can't recommend enough riding at either Stewart State Forest (near Newburgh) off ext 17 of the NY State Thruway or Taconic 909 (on the other side of the river right off the Taconic Thruway. They're both world class fantastic, but it does take some work or a knowledgeable source to find the good stuff at those locations. (Gwynna - I assume you'll be racing at 909 as part of the H2H series?)

Lewis Morris? The proximity works for me this weekend . And that's where the next H2H race on 6/22 which I'm hoping to do if my knee is up to it. Phil might race it also.
I'm down for checking out the other spots in the future too when my weekends are more free. I'd like to get out at least every other weekend. Saturdays are usually good. Tomorrow my GF is leaving for Chicago so I have to stick around to see her off.

I'm good for tomorrow (Sunday) morning . I too have to be back very early afternoon. If I take my car (iI can take me plus 2) then I have to hit northern Bergen County (not far from Piermont) on the way back to pick up my son. If I get a ride with you guys then I have more freedom.
Not to complicate things but another nearby place would be Ringwood, NJ-- rockier, much bigger, more technical than Lewis Morris. I'm cool to do either though.

That was a ton of fun. Lewis Morris is pretty cool. I enjoyed those downhills a lot especially the ones we got to do twice where we could get some nice flow going picking better lines the second time around. Let's do this often.
