Perhaps, but regardless and with my usual caveat for doping, we are living in a cycling golden era -- unsurprisingly, the microphone and attention have turned to those in a starring role. Seems like Froome missed the curve.

That said, we know he was dropped, because the camera on his face.

Just read an interview with that "Breath" author.  Part of the problem is that during the interview(s) he rarely gets challenged.  The person here is David Epstein, he of "The Sports Gene," wherein he was unable to acknowledge doping.

Also David Epstein's second book Range is nowhere near as insightful in the anecdotal way that Sports Gene is. As a generalist I Ioved the theme but the execution is meh.

Funny thing to me is that both Froome and Ineos-Grenadiers are now doing YouTube videos.  Maybe to counteract the Robot/Death Star comparisons.  Or to cut in a teeny bit on Peter Sagan's space.

Much of this seems like silliness.  Sagan is the most marketable name in cycling and a good base for a classics squad, even if he's lost a stroke compared to two or three years ago.  And I'd think Specialized would want him on board as well
