Spooky Bikes moving to BK, looking to open a LBS retail space as well.
I heard twoyacks may have been part of the blue ribbon committee offering tax breaks and sacrificial broken carbon to get them to move here.
SPACE INVADERS:
did you know that Spooky is moving to NYC?
It's true- and Billy is already hard at work in Bushwick brazing.
He printed some t's-

He's setting up some space down there to build fillet frames(big surprise a kid who started working in a bike factory when he was 14 builds bikes right?) and hopefully we'll have an LBS retail footprint in Bushwick sometime next year.

Spooky ??? Coming to Brooklyn ???
Nov 14, 2013 at 01:03 AM
Wasn't Spooky the brand-o-bike that a) we had some super secret, on the sly order with a couple of years back and b) when said bikes eventually arrived they were out of alignment or funky in some other way?
Nov 14, 2013 at 01:14 AM
c) said bike was piloted by a certain overweight team member to a green & polka jersey and only funky out of alignment members were invited to purchase. Now go play with your yo-yo !!!

Nah @Marc they were aligned right, they just didn't stay welded so good.

@twoyacks ..... Chris, I've developed a prototype that will increase your speed 10 fold!!! stay tuned for pics!
Nov 15, 2013 at 03:17 AM
ok. I just have to tell everyone that THIS IS A PROTOTYPE.
years of research have led to this design. while this initial model IS carbon fibre for light weight, future models will utilize NACA airfoil tubing for added top speed.
I call it the yackanator2000 .
my initial research shows an increase in fTP of 714%, a decrease in fatigue of 924%, and an added manly hair factor of 5. the uci has approved this design, so it is supercross legal.
