In Print: Articles of Interest

FWIW, when I started this thread I was thinking of both definitions of the word "article." "In Print: Items of Interest"
Thats exactly the sort of wacky thing he'd say. Explains a lot, that dudes was like a hound dog, whips it out to whizz on every tree.
i made it to the top of box hill!  now i think i'll fall off my bike and take a nap...

I bet having that National Champion skinsuit made in advance of the race is seeming like pretty bad mojo right now.

Also, sorry to be such a skeptic, but uh... doesn't this guy look a little... uh... *different* than the guys he completely smoked?  As in, he looks like a power lifter and they all look like climbers?
Something doesn't add up...

Let's see what happens with his controls...he is jacked.  There is a precedent for such a physique winning the U.S. pro title.  Mr. Armstrong apologist himself...

Nothing suspicious about this transformation...mustache's just make you appear like you have 20 lbs. less muscle.

In fairness, USPRO was a criterium when Eustice won.

Though it was the first year of "The Wall" that Heiden won

But as subsequent years demonstrated, non-climbers had a better shot than climbers in Philadelpha.
Bc philly was all about team support and lemon

It was a surprising race overall.  The guys with the ToC as prep didn't dominate.  In fact, few of them did well.  But for the race itself, he could have hung on as others controlled the pace, rode wheels, and only came to life once the climbing was done.  Smartstop is a third-tier team, so they could have left the race to the bigger squads and then capitalized off their work.

If Marcotte does get popped, some serious egg on the faces of Myerson and Creed and the SmartStop organization.
@Jules I agree
Also, the moto's were the worst - Phinney broken leg and another dragged the chase up to UHC guys attack. Director should be ashamed.

Myerson tweets:

"Everything you want to know about @EricDMarcotte you can learn here"

Personally I'm more confused than ever. Is a he a man with 3 narrational voices, one of which is a woman? Oh, and I get it, he rides a long time on a mountain bike on Saturday, has a juicer and goes for hikes and runs with his dogs on Sundays. That's why he's so awesome. Also, has a very tidy tie rack.
It would be less than ideal. I don't think anyone expects a small team like ss to have in house controls. That would almost be like mengoni having them.

Ha
And I thought Fast Freddie winning was completely bizarre.
^ Super Mario himself would cringe watching that video.  I've never seen something so absurd.  Is he related to the "Impossible is Nothing" kid?
Whats was the old quote. ..if it goes on the flats like a motorcycle, up hills like s motorcycle, snd is built like a motorcycle it's probably ....Kyle Leogrande
That video is worse than cheating to win nationals.  At least Cippo knows it's an act...

BIG George on Lopate today at noon.  I'm smelling a puffy piece:

Wait wait wait... so mountain biking is just anything you do on a mountain bike? I'll have to give that a try when I'm tired of cyclocrossing 9W.

What an insightful article.  I had no idea that Jamis is based in NJ.
Sounds like fun riding and eating http://www.bonappetit.com/restaurants-travel/article/basque-country-spain-cycling-eating-tour

Q&A: New League study challenges assumptions about fatal bike crashes

Seriously, are these written by a person or by some kind of Chinese Malware bot run amok?

France experiments with paying people to cycle to work -

34 cents per km to work.. that's $1.06 for me each day. WooT!

Let's make sure this doesn't fall on the banned substance list.....
