Interesting that this isn't really a PED crackdown in the traditional sense, but IMO a more serious issue of highly addictive prescription narcotics. Also seems like former/retired league players were the ones that seemed to initiate the investigation?

They were.  But it's not like it's the first time.  Walt Sweeney did in the 1990s.  Won the case.  Lost on appeal.

That sucks. The term "high energy" seems weird to my layperson's ears in this context.  (I realize that physicists, engineers, EMTs, and MDs may have other notions.) "High energy" just feels optimistic or like a description of some uptempo dance music or spin class, not a f+cked up crash like this.

They are really, really wrong about Voigt. It's a family name on my mother's maternal side. The American way of pronouncing it is as most people do, and is acceptable. The German way of pronouncing it, however, is NOT "Vote."

First, "V" in German are pronounced like "F" For example, the German car company, VW? Say, "Fow-Vay"

Second, you close down the back of your tongue to the roof of your mouth to create a kind of "hushing" sound  where the "g" sits. I can't think of a way to phonetically spell it out at the moment.

Me's thinks the Armstrong prosecution is starting to heat up and Steve Johnson is likely going to be involved.  The guy had to go...of this there is no question.  I am curious to see at what level he was willfully complicit in the decade long fraud.
