Have to say I'm pretty disappointed in this mealy mouthed response to the British Cycling meltdown. I understand she has Olympics coming and she's waiting to be selected, but this seems quite evasive... and she's a voice that could move the needle.

One of the shitty things about sexism is that you get it for speaking out AND not speaking out.

Sounds like GoPro is struggling now that they've saturated the bike/ski/base jumper market and now need to figure out how to make their product better for everyday users.

Their problem is getting content off the camera and in shareable formats quickly and easily.

The value of a certified used bike that you know A) hasn't been in a terrible crash has been regularly maintained C) Isn't stolen could mean your new bike retains more of it's value when you do choose to pass it along. A new revenue stream for bike shops as they increase the volume of bikes they sell. Finally I think it gives newer riders an easier opportunity to upgrade since they can buy a CPO bike as their first and then trade it in for a new bike 6-12 months later without having to layout so much total out of pocket.

Who am I kidding, they're still worried about building jigs to test the angle of saddles for pro races. Building a subscription streaming service available to monetize a fan base outside of traditional Western European countries, is way outside of their abilities.

Guess I better go back to using a VPN service to illegally stream races and watching YouTube replays of full races, since that's the only way I can catch LBL or MSR.

The coverage of the ToC Women's race, and the Women's World Cups is easier to find and digest, than almost any other racing out there.

Nice job Adam. What is it with podium bikes thing? This seems to be a new west coast thing. Is this a result of the 5 year drought or something?

I don't think I've seen it here, but out there it seems to be gaining traction, like high wasted pants and "Adulting".

I had to google "adulting".  I thought it might be something along the lines "dogging".  Apparently it isn't. 

Really no idea about the bike thing.  They all seem to do it.  Obvs they get a sponsor discount and are sort of promoting it, but not too sure if it is relevant.  Some people take podium pictures with their kids.  Maybe it's like that.  Or maybe the people who take the pictures with their kids just have shitty bikes?

@Adam, your last sentence made me actually laugh out loud. I think I scared some of my co-workers by the seemingly unprovoked laugh.
