Team Kit Order

Not sure what became of that one, but CS has asked for all the "wrong" ones returned.  For what unholy purpose I know not.  Perhaps uniforms for the Army of Darkness?
Are you kidding me? That's ridiculous. Dump CS now.
@ Marc at this point it would be cutting off our nose to spite our face.  We have invested a lot of time & sweat in CS, not to mention their outright support.

Lets see how the current order (to arrive soon, we are told) and the next go.

2013 is a new year.
I don't get it? What am I looking act? All I see is 100% pure New Zealand speed. Drink it in. Intoxicatingly sexy.
Yikes! - I thought all the skinsuits were the same... just missing the "kissena" on the leg, guess I got lucky. I like the design, just give me the kissena on the leg
Champ Sys has been great to Kissena, their clothes have improved greatly over the years, and using them helps support Charlie who is the lifeblood of our races.  I wouldn't drop them unless they were awful, which they aren't.

As an interim step - has anyone actually given this kind of candid feedback to Charlie, directly?  If not, he might appreciate it.  From the pics and the stories here it definitely seems like there are problems to resolve. They're never going to get better and grow as a company, and serve their customers better, without knowing about it - as candidly as possible.

But if they have been made aware (I'm guessing this is likely), and it doesn't appear like anything is going to change - then I think it would be reasonable enough to explore other options.

Either way, I think transparency before the club does anything is really important.  Lenny is right about Charlie's importance on the NYC racing scene.

David, a couple of years back, thinking I'd be all "pro" product development helper rider dude, I sent some feedback directly to Charlie about the short finger cycling gloves. They were weirdly digging/cutting into my hands, between the fingers in a way that no other gloves I had ever had. I don't know if that email was received, or how it was interpreted.
I HAZ TRACKING NUMBERS!
Stay Tuned for details.

The quality of the clothing is okay. The service we have received recently is horrendous. I don't think we should drop them either - now. But it needs to get better for it to make sense to pay them as much as we do.

What order does this relate to ?
I have everything from the first order.
Except the skinsuit which I returned
And the winter order which hasn't been delivered yet
Kit is Packaged!

Pick it up at Ride Brooklyn after 5pm Thursday October 25th

Overall everything looks good.  As always CHECK YOUR BAG.  Sign your invoice & leave it with the folks at Ride Brooklyn.

Skinsuits: please email me directly at jules (dot) roazen (at) gmail
Any chance they could take stuff to the new williamsburg location for Fridays par-Tay pickup, if we request?

Yes, I'm that lazy. Prob too much trouble though with everything else going on.

Oh yeah, thanks Jules!
hmmm... let me get right on that, NOT.

Seriously though, drop-off will be at the Bergen St. Ride Brooklyn.

Jules- thanks for all the effort.  Anyshot you can data dump list of orders that will be there - just want to be sure some goodies will be waiting for me!

Jules any chance you can bring my stuff to my house and then stay and do some measurements and alterations to my gear? And help me wax?
Your stuff will be there Richard, it's a big sack :)
Awesome - I love big sacks.
Kit is at Ride Brooklyn.  Have at it.
Just out of the frame of this picture:  Jules waxing Ryan in the corner, like some bizarre homage to the Blair Witch Project.....
Any possibility we could get an order in sometime soon so we could get it delivered in early January?  Otherwise I have to horrify you with the old kit in the cold!
We'll see. I'm going to try for a small one using Charlie's new system -
so no promises. But I'll try.

that would be great....i'm regretting not buying more cold weather gear last time around....
Picked up my kit today. Super sensasional!!!  Now, I'm lounging at home in it.  My family thinks I'm totally twisted, but that's the way I like it.

Yes let's get an order in. My quads are outpacing my ambition and I'm busting through my bibs...a tertiary benefit of all the dopers fessing up is an avalanche of steroids on the open market....seriously its easier to get the "juice" than it is to get gasoline these days. Woo !

Afternoon.  Quick question: I recently ordered bib shorts and a jersey (as part of the new-member deal).  Do I need to pick up the gear from Ride Brooklyn?  It's been a few weeks and so I guessing I need to pick it up somewhere.

Cheers.
