I didn't see any Kissena socks but having looked don't think Champ Sys do them. Would it be cool to have them? Just a thought.

I have worn this skinsuit exactly once on my trainer indoors. Words cannot express the disappointment I feel right now.  I refuse to pay a premium for Champsys products going forward. They are a fucking joke and so is this club for continuing to do business with them.  Honestly it's shame on me for believing that their product would improve. I've had it. As soon as I can get my hands on other kit I will wear it. Buyer beware: the stuff is crap. Consider this a public service announcement.

There have been numerous quality issues with ChampSys over the years. No doubt it is the same with other companies. Thankfully the club is about more than the kit. That said, we will evaluate other clothing brands for next year. 

Let's dial it down a notch fellas.

Vlad, I believe the board has done due diligence on kit. Switching to the manufacturer we'd all prefer unfortunately bumps pricing into the stratosphere. With the logistics of creating entirely new artwork and the waste from biffing the old kit, we have to be smart about it. We'll definitely fucking revisit it in 2017. Also, keep in mind we're all doing this for the love of it, like Fugazi.

Quality, style and - oh my sandy softest bits - CHAMOIS'

The amount of work it takes to manage club kit is huge. Every couple of years the Board looks around for better - just like we do for our other sponsors.

This year we looked very seriously at Castelli but alas ! their custom club kit is nothing like what they manufacture for retail sale.

Incredibly - Champsys is quite competitive. We look at things like

• quality
• delivery options, timing and price (some offer a many-month lead time or once per year order or insane rush pricing)
• price
• selection (Pactimo, god bless their Californian souls offers no winter kit!)
• selection (Women's specific clothing, Speedsuits, Crit speedsuits, Cross speedsuits, long, short sleeved, etc)
• willingness to sponsor us (CS gives us a small amount of free credit to use to incentivize mentors)
• not being named for famous dopers (looking at YOU big George)
• proof management - you do not want to know how much effort goes into maintaining the templates for various pieces in the online store

If you care - and I mean really care - feel free to reach out to any board member and get involved. There is always work to be done, and as John so eloquently put it

This club runs on volunteer juice. (not that grey nasty stuff that you squeeze out of your helmet liner in August)

@vlad have never seen someone react so passionately about tight mens clothing, you may have a future in fashion. but to stay on topic, maybe champsys will let you try on a sample next time. everyones physiology is different, & theres no one-size-fits-all 

Vlad is a medium who wears large kit for no discernible reason. He got a defective skinsuit and it ripped. This is not a sizing problem on Vlad's part, it's a CS quality issue plain and simple.
