I was studying the weather forecasts carefully. I convinced myself that the storm would be passing early in the morning and that by 11am things were going to clear. I had considered delaying my ride, but when I woke up everything was clear and I concluded that the storm had amounted to nothing. We were in the clear and I TOOK MY FENDERS OFF. Little did I know that the weather front was just a little late. This delusion was driven by two factors: 1) a weekend in California where they report rain accumulations of 0.01" and warn about rain that never comes . . . all the time. 2) dispersions from Bertucco about my not offering to be present on recent rides in dubious conditions.Ryan J said:Don't you lunatics read weather forecasts?
