I'm doing openers for the Bear Mtn adventure on Sunday.
So I'm still seriously out of shape; if anyone wants a social steady drumbeat on Saturday let me know.  I prefer to start early.
In for Saturday earlier the better
I'll be going out to Rockland Lake a bit later if anyone cares to join. Leaving BB 10 am.
I am also in for Saturday. I prefer the standard 8am BB start time, but could be persuaded into a 7am start if that is more popular.
I plan in being at the BB at 8am Saturday.

@Kayt, I'm down for a 10am BB start tomorrow! Count me in.
@kayt I'm game but I have to be back in Brooklyn by 2:30. Think that's a possibility?
I'll be BB tomorrow @7:30.  Looking for a steady 4 hours.
Hey @Wilson, most likely doable. And you can always turn back at Piermont if you're anxious about the timing. BK > Piermont > BK is very doable in 4 hours. See you and @Ros tomorrow (or technically, later today I guess).
Apologies, change of plan. I'm exhausted and need sleep so I am returning to bed right now . zzzzZZZZ

I'll be in prospect park 8:30-11 (ish)

Kayt and Ros,

I'll be there at 10 for a few hour ride.
Great ride today; began cold, then got warm, then cold again then very warm.  Where is Bruce when you need him?!?  Drinking milkshakes and watching CX Worlds, no doubt, with a copy of Proust in one hand...

Met up with Tim, Eric, Thierry and Whitey at the bridge before rolling north.  We picked up Pappa Patrick aka "Pea-Grea" on his oh-so-pro Cannondale.

We all rolled north but when the Hammerheads did their thing Pea-Grea and I sat up to keep things social.  Heck, it's Feb 1.  Our duo became a three-O when we ran into a nameless Kissena.  Not sure who he was, but he had pink handlebar tape, a slow-mo watt extruder crank and a wiener dog perched on his shoulder.  Couldn't tell if it was the wind or the dog howling as we screamed back down 9w.

My SRM battery died, just two days before I'd planned to send it back.  After I'm done posting I'll be in the corner weeping softly; the miles lost without recording will never be mine... never...

I'm headed to prospect now. Should be there until 4 or so.
heading to central park now for perhaps two gentle laps
Dale, Kayt & I had a pretty chill ride to Mattie's and back up 9W. We left plenty of time for coffee & donuts. The weather being what it's been, today felt like Heaven out there. Perfect chill Sat ride to get them miles in the Winter legs, although I did get a bit jealous seeing those kids playing pond hockey just under the 9W overpass, right as we turned into Piermont. No luck getting Dale & Kayt off our bikes and into some skates ;P Maybe next time.
Any rides aside from the Superbowl Ride going on tomorrow? Not sure I'll be up that early.
I'll be in prospect at 10:15 or so for about two hours.
I pedaled for 30 minutes on the trainer today, first time on my bike in 7 weeks. I think my cadence was slower only one time when I had a hangover and the flu. I had to stay sitting upright, and concentrate on my pedal stroke, and after crutches and hopping and limping and calluses on my palms and mothers explaining to young children quietly, HOLY CRAP cycling is fun! My bike smells like grease, the chain whirs like a machine, and freedom is on the horizon.

In a couple of weeks, I'm going to point this thing out onto the road and join you.
He's back!
Those are great news Bruce. Welcome back!
I'll be at PP around 7AM for 1:30 hours of tempo riding.
Nelson and I are going to watch Worlds and then head over to PP for a few hours of tempo.
Lots of folks seem to congregating at PP for a few hours after CX Worlds.

If you can make it TODAY AT NOON to Prospect in Kissena Kit, please consider getting your photo taken for a good cause.

It's supposed to get up to a balmy 22 degrees by mid-morning mañana--though it will feel like the mid-30's, thanks to conversation and the promise of coffee in Piermont.

10 am ride leaving from BB. Anyone in?
