Standard brisk group pace to Sparkill via the low road. This portion of the ride will accommodate most Kissenas and would be a good prologue to a variety of different route/group choices.

After that, one group will be splitting off for the Orchards. This will be a fast group, going quite long -- around 95 miles round trip from Brooklyn. If you're game for this ride, come adequately prepared to ride solo for several hours in case you drop off the pace. There will not be a lot of waiting or stopping on this ride as some of us are on a schedule. We'll take a solid refreshment break at Orchards, but probably only one or two short stops otherwise for nature breaks and such.
