Sounds great. I'm in. I have a bike rack that fits 3 bikes (The bike rack came with a car we totaled in Feb). @RobertMullen , do you have car as well? Perhaps others would like to join
Awesome. Let's meet at my place 6:45am.

417 - 11th Street (Corner of 6ave) Brooklyn 11215. My phone is 347.225.1058 What is yours?

-- do not bring the bike rack. do bring kissena kit, some clothes for the drive back, and tons more water and food than what you think you'll need.

Let's go ride bikes!
My cell is 607-592-4128

Thanks for the list. I'll bring all the water I can. It's going to be ... warm. See you tomorrow!
@RichardCornetta, @RobertMullen, @AnthonyOtt I'll be at the GWB at 7:30. Hope to see some of you. Please post if later is better for you. I'm flexible.
Sorry for the lateness. I’ll be there!
Should be there by 7:45
Cool Anthony and I are at GWB
Anyone out for the 'traditional' sunday ride?

I'm thinking I'll be at the GWB by 9.  Company would be grand.
…this upcoming Sunday in Rockland so I figure why not ride up. I plan on leaving from BB at 7…
@Matt Budofsky I'll join you. I also have a co-worker visiting from Helsinki who brought his bike and will join us as well. He's a very experienced, solid rider.

It's going to be hot, so going early is a good call.

Anyone else?

What time can we meet you at GWB?  @mugwump maybe we can all meet up?
If we leave BB at 7:00a and my friend who is joining us mid-route is on time, we should be at GWB around 8:00-ish.

BTW, for anyone joining us for the early ride, please don’t bring up my relocation back to Austin in front of my coworker. Not everyone at Reaktor knows about the plan and I need it to stay that way for the moment.
Unfortunately I can’t make the earlier start, but I do plan on passing by bb at 8 and gwb at 9. Probably headed to Piermont.

You guys have a good ride
i'll be at GWB at 9 tomorrow to join anyone else going out
Super solid day out with Dotan today.

As described, we started at Lake Welch, went out hunting for Bear, found our way back and west of Harriman, to eventually ride the race loop, climbing beautiful Tiorati.

Rode some cool champion meshy bibs, without gloves, and without my usual inner layer and cap. Totally underestimated how much these things help me manage sweat. Bear was a bit of a struggle to just keep the sweat out of my eyes.

Definitely hot, but did not feel very humid or oppressive. We stopped for water and coca colas at the many vending machines in Harriman.

One of many highlights, was when we followed rwgps into a private property, including a main "old horse carriage" mansion, full on garden statues by Fernando Botero(!!!!!) and a Stephan Weiss apple(!!) oh and a detached chapel with family graveyard. Once outside of the property, we ran into and had a quick convo with the owner, and even a super quick exchange with the Police. Owner was a bit of a jerk, Police were cool about it, less than a minute to apologize and move on. --- while it might sound kinda cool, please do not ride the route as is, don't wanna imagine the exchange if the owner had caught us inside the property. That said, what would a solid day be without some getting into trouble adventure?

95km, 1600 meters of elevation, 200 TSS.

Great time and super hotness day for sure. We seriously missed you, honest.

Looks like a cracking day out
Thank you Eloy for initiating this ride. I'm glad I was your partner on this adventure. It was a great ride, we defeated the heat with an accidental coca cola can. Great route, we should repeat.

Conclusion drawn from seeing the photos - gotta take care of this belly...
@Darren He , @WilliamCheng , and myself at the bridge.

We resolved to take the low road to piermont, refill bottles, then roll home on 9W.  It was sufficiently hot that both had emptied a bottle on the ride up, so first to Strictly Bicycles to refill then hit the road.

We were pulled over in Piermont for riding double just over the Piermont border.  Darren got the ticket.  Probably should have been me, as I think I was the guy on the left.  The cop definitely took his time.  We checked in at the Piermont bike shop to see if there was anything we could do.  They didn't have any intel on the matter.   We had been riding the speed limit, I'm pretty sure, so I'm wondering if there's a way to use that to get out of the ticket.

Saw @Brian Miele going north on 9W.  He turned around to join us. I think people were getting melty by the time we returned to the city. Thankfully, a hydrant had a sprinkler cap going strong at 172nd and Haven.  We all showered before finishing our ride south.  Hoping Will got some good pics of it.
A hot but fun day aboard the JP express. The day would’ve been pretty miserable without someone pulling us along.

It was also my first post ride hydrant party:

Hey!! A few members of NYCC and Bicycle Habitat are riding out to Nyack beach tomorrow. If you guys would like to join we will be meeting at Sakura park 8am and having lunch on the beach. We are breaking up in two paces to make everyone comfortable.

Any chance of making sure we are at Piermont for the last 35km of the stage...?
I need to be home too early to join the new member ride, but I’m going to roll some early laps in Central Park around 7am for anyone who wants to join
I'm in for tomorrow
@JasonFugett with John?

Matt - I will meet you at the Tavern at 7 for a few laps.

Will roll on to the GWB at 9.  Should be a solid day out.
@HamedaMckenzie Yeah should have been specific. Going to 9W this morning.
Heres some pics from today ride! Solid work out there keeping me out of the wind guys! :)

Uno Mas
These pictures are super hot. This was a huuuge and super fun and pretty safe ride! There were at least 100 of us out there. I did not count exactly. Kevin set a Kissena KOM on the stateline sprint I think and we hit like 48mph somewhere which is ludicrous.
