As mentioned, I am planning on hitting the Cunningham trails on the cross bicycle, tomorrow, labor day, around 9:30 am.

Will play effort/length by a ear, but probably about 2ish hours on the cross bike fun.

Lots of fun today! That little gravel/dirt section we did really is pushing me to get/build up a cross bike.

John Powell did Saturday (how did it go?)  JP is doing Sunday.  9am at the GWB.

Since no one met me at the bridge, I tried to see if I could meet up with the southbound rocket ride.
Didn't.

to do something a bit different, I kept the route relatively flat, making my way over to the base of the Orchard climb, and then headed for the Hudson, where I followed the dirt trail along the river back to Nyack.  Then hustled home.

This ride is so temping... Such a good bunch of people. However, after the TAN ride I had today I got to ease the load. Come over to the Bike Jumble after the ride, it's there until 16:00. I live 37 steps from there, got beer.

Bummer you couldn't make it.  We did wait til 9:20 in the hopes that we could take you on one last tour.

Nevertheless, we persisted.  Ricky turned back on River Road.  We stopped at Piermont to empty, refill, and clean.  Then we climbed Ash, which convinced Bobby his injured toe needed an easier time.  He went back, the rest rode onto the rail trail and took it to Nyack, then Broadway through Nyack to the trail at Nyack Beach to Rockland Lake.  Around Rockland lake to Valley Cottage, then West Nyack, and back.  Was hoping to go through the old asylum grounds, but it was blocked off.

@mugwump Great ride today! Excellent route. Definitely saving this one for later. Thanks for leading this one.

I was think climbing up to bear and back.

After cutting today’s ride short I’m in for a ride to bear tomorrow. 

Riding in the park tomorrow with Redbeard, 0745 meet for 0800 start. Chill laps on a red bike*.

I'm racing on Sunday but thinking about doing an early morning loop in the park on Saturday to get some hours in for the week. Say 6:30am at GAP, 90min-2hr easy with some openers.
