I can make CP for a bit but with carbon and gears.

I'm not sure how muddy the gravel paths will be up near Nyack after this rain but I only have 26c slicks so I don't think that'll be the best idea.
Missed the main event but rolled with Ricky and co. a couple laps. I heard someone was up at 3:30am. Respect!

It was a ton of fun. I will try to make this into a monthly event in the off season-ish period.

I will write my usual report later in the day... Need to finish waking up and becoming human again... lol...

P.S.: I "heard" it was 2:30am  =).

Anyone want to ride gravel this weekend? Can do both days....
Could be down for another Sunday funday
I'm trying to do an Alpine FTP test at some point this weekend if anyone is interested
I will only have my road bike this sat... As I will packing the crux for Sunday flight to SF.

Caveat is I have a Christmas party on Friday... Last one of the year I hope my liver is hating me more than eating a dozen of SIS gels!

So not sure if I can make it early.
@RichFreeman
@RobertMullen let's go ride Cunningham. Single track with friends is the best + 100% of the miles will be off road.

What say you?
Peoples,

sad that I am to miss the next two Sundays in the city.  But I'll be back the first weekend of the new year, ready to take on the miles and help make the smiles.

I'm open to it - also want to get down to the new gravel training facility this weekend...
I'm up for a single track funday at Cunningham, either morning.
it’ll be cold either day but Sunday looks like the better forecast, the trails will keep us warmer tho.
Working both days this weekend unfortunately. Looking forward to do some off road this winter though.
In for Sunday @eloy - might cycle down to the new place after riding the trails depending on time.

Anyone else fancy this on Saturday - requires a train ride both ways:

game for this...did most of it over the summer. Lots of good taco & brewery stops along the way
I cant do saturday but that route looks rad. Any interest in swapping singletrack for saturday and gravel for sunday?
would love to join Saturday, but looks like I wont be able to.

Will post details for Sunday here. But generally, I expect to be at the trails around 9:30 am.
I'm flying Sunday night and have promised to help out Redbeard with their shop move Sunday afternoon so need to keep it local Sunday...

@JohnOlsson getting the Surly out?

That means I am a Yes to Cunningham on Sunday @0930 hours.
I'll be at Cunningham on Sunday. Need to do a bit earlier but will meet up when you guys arrive.
Bridge path was closed this morning - guess I missed that announcement. Jeff and I turned around when we got there and did some laps of CP. Cold but no wind so it was actually a pleasant morning.
re: cunningham tomorrow. I’ll take the 8:45 train from Atlantic to Hollis, which should put me on the west entrance of the trails at 9:30am, will be on the more popular east side entrance shortly thereafter

looking forward, will be fun!!
good times at cunningham today..., notable moments was Phil crank coming off, and Richard killing it first time on the trails.

 at the cunningham

@RichFreeman how did that little sausage roll bag work out there ?
what model is it ?
The sausage roll is useful and allows me to keep up with the current fashion in baked bike bags. Got it from Ornot (mini roll) earlier this year, but now I see that rapha and a few others are making them which has made me a bit jealous. Still, fits everything you need (vest, snacks, tyre, tools etc).
Tomorrow (Day after Xmas)
9AM BB / 10AM GWB

The  not-so-great GWB bike closure of 2019 is finally over.

We will ride to Piermont (at minimum)...can easily be convinced to do Bradley-Tweed, in reverse even.

So bring your Xmas cheer, pocket sausage, snacks, whatever you are into.

Happy cycling ya filthy animals
