Yes pretty solidly attached via 2 main handlebar straps and a 3rd safety draw cord. Didn’t notice anything untoward when I was riding.
I have the same sausage roll... I'm putting it on strenuous test in cali gravel. It's holding up like a champ! Highly recommended specially for a long training ride.

Except eating 50 pack of sticky gels and leaving the trash inside is making it sticky 😂
Planning or riding from GWB to Piermont (and maybe beyond) tomorrow morning. If I get up especially early I might start from BB. Cortisone shot and KT Tape on my shoulder and I am chomping at the bit... although, I don't have the whole body art thing that this guy has going...

I'm in. Can leave from BB or meet at GWB.
Can I get a link to this bag? I might be interested for when I do some long rides here or in Italy. Maybe even the Central Park 100mile, lol.

I'm keen. 8am BB/9am GW Patrick?

Yup. Most likely I’ll start at BB unless I oversleep, in which case I’ll drive to GWB

@JohnMalcolmson wish I could join you guys as I mentioned, but feeling a bit under the weather.

I'll start at BB 8am, will be at GWB by 9am.
Anyone riding Sun?
These fruit & nut rice cakes ain't gonna eat themselves. Think fruit cake, but better. Also bringing savory.
I’m trying to roll tomorrow. What time are you thinking?
The usual? 8AM BB/9AM GWB??
The sausage roll is useful and allows me to keep up with the current fashion in baked bike bags. Got it from Ornot (mini roll) earlier this year, but now I see that rapha and a few others are making them which has made me a bit jealous. Still, fits everything you need (vest, snacks, tyre, tools etc).
So I was looking at the Ornot Handlebar Bag Mini and it seems like a good product for when I do some extended rides, hopefully this winter base miles before the race season kicks in, or the Central Park Century Single Speed, to stash that bit of extra stuff I might need that makes using the jersey pockets a bit more cumbersome.

I was also looking at the Rapha Bar Bag, which is a bit longer/wider. That one has the nice feature of detaching and becoming a shoulder bag. I can see this being very useful when I do my long rides in Italy. There I have to carry my Euro wallet (bigger than my US one since the bills are bigger and you tend to cary more change,) my mandatory need to have ID, and an Italian cell phone along with my US cell phone, plus food etc...  I can then throw it over my shoulder when I need to go in and buy coffee, etc...
Rapha bag is on sale at 45 USD...
Kissena Annual Superbowl Century up Bear Mountain

The annual super bowl century is a month away...thats Sun Feb 2! Its always a blast...sometimes it snows! We always make it back before kickoff.

Happy New Year.

I'm back and chomping to get out to the old roads.

Sunday 1/5/20.  9am at the GWB.

(love me the Super Bowl Ride.  I'm hoping to get some Kissena alum out as well as Birthday Boy Keith Snyder, and possibly other colorful characters who can handle the speed, hills, and distance in style)

Conor, Erik, John M, Rob, Ricky, and yours truly.  We took River road to stay out of the (mostly head) wind, then ground into the wind to Piermont.  Picked up a friend along the way, Conor turned back immediately, I went out for more.

On my way south, I started mixing in with the faster guys of the Fire Cycling Team.  Starting to look like a nice TTT back.  Just as we hit the flats, I flatted, and that was it.  Didn't see anyone going south the rest of the way.
Anyone down for a Piermont ride tomorrow morning? I have to take advantage of the nice weather.

Rich has a clique?

So long as you're wearing the colors, you'll fit in just fine.
My FTP is good.

@mugwump it was a joking referring to the fact that he tagged a few people.
Will you guys be doing the Rich Freeman classic workout? 3x Ramp test?
Then proceed to do only z2 1 hr workout everytime! ha ha ha
Ramp tests will continue until the computer gives up and shows me what I want to see or (and it's a big or) I get stronger.
I’ll probably roll in PP if anyone wants to join.  Would love to ride up to Piermont with this crew but can’t stray too far from home as the wife could go into labor at any moment.
