(Technically four. The rider who showed up in GCNY kit is not a current member.)

Great riding with JP, Remy, and Brian!

It started to rain around Piermont heading up to Bradley Tweed. This felt good on a super humid morning.
Anyone interested in doing a 6-7 hour ride Saturday? I have a route that goes into southern CT, about 114mi for me from Hoboken. About 6500ft of vert.

Anyone rolling out from the GWB tomorrow morning?
I’m down to roll north for a bit (gotta be home around 11ish)
Overslept- gonna roll from later this morning
Will be there
James,
When I saw Matt's comment, I assumed no one was coming.  And you wrote at 8:56 for a 9am ride.  Did you wait?

Obviously, I was late to the 9am start.  I did go inland, and a fairly hilly route.  Company would have been fun.

Matt made it after all and we waited until 9:15 - I bet we missed you by a minute, JP! Some of your route today looks familiar!

Bret and his friend Liam arrived as we rolled out. We headed up 9w and did the Bradley Tweed loop. Nice tailwind on the way up.

humid AF but a super nice morning nonetheless
That’s my bad! For some reason I had it in my head that the usual KCC ride left BB at 7 and GWB at 8 so I was all out of wack time wise
Tokyo time has us jetlagged … MTB race is at 2am! ugh
What's the haps this weekend?
Thinking to head up To orchards tomorrow on early side. If anyone is game to join I’ll be on Jersey side of GWB at 8:15.

Your wrist is cleared for outdoor riding?  Awesome!

I've got family stuff today and am racing in Branchbrook tomorrow, so no group affairs at the GWB for me this week.  Hoping for next week though.
I will ride tomorrow. Working tonight though, I'll have a late start. 11am GWB, Jersey Side.

Riding to Piermont and back, maybe a little longer if I have company and the weather is compliant.

I hit Cunningham this morning - lots of families and casual riders on Walmart bikes mixed in with the mtb and pump track crowd. Good vibes from everyone on the trails. Very muddy in some of the winding blue sections, otherwise forgot how overgrown it gets. Glad I was out there with long sleeves and "chinos" (sort of paranoid about ticks and lyme disease).

Tomorrow I'll probably do GWB, NJ side by 8a. I'm supremely out of shape so will be going pretty easy. Cya if I see ya.
Whoops started late, will hang at NJ side GWB until 9ish.

Ride update:
Good times, great taste. Sizable Rapha group gathered and left around 9. I hung out for a few minutes and headed solo down River Road. Lots of walkers and joggers, few cyclists so had the road to myself. Easy spins until Alpine which I hit with a little more gusto and debated whether to keep heading north or head back home. My wrist bone is healed, but the tendons running on along the sides are still strained and inflamed so I decided not to push my luck and headed home. Solo seated "lead out" sprints to gas station and the hill on Hudson Terrace and eased my way through the city. Think I caught Remy heading up the hill towards GWB before Columbia Hospital. Not really a group ride, but it's the thought that counts.

Hi,

I was able to leave work earlier. Since nobody would join me I went to the Glacier trails instead.
Sunday morning I'm tentatively planning to go up to Wassaic to do a loop over Mt Washington. It's the last weekend I'll have a chance to use my ticket ($40) before it expires. I'll be taking the 7:10am train from Grand Central:

If anyone wants to join, let me know. Masks are required on the train, obviously...   update: postponing to some other non-sunday time.
Not to post a competing ride, but Sunday I'm gonna do an early ride (7am BB, 8am GWB) for my birthday- likely going to cruise up to the Orchards before I swing off and head to my parent's house in Nanuet. Let me know if you wanna join!
Oh man, that makes for a tough decision...

I'm gonna postpone my long train ride ride and join Matt's B-day ride. Would be fun to get a nice size group going!
I hate this competition thing...for group rides

I am still hoping we can get a group to meet at the GWB as per the traditional Kissena Sunday Ride.  8am BB, 9am GWB.  As a regular thing.  As per tradition.

but maybe I can make it earlier....

I'm in for GWB at 9. 8 is too early for me. Waking up at 330 for the crit today, I want to get some sleep tonight haha.
Hoping to join Matt's ride and peel off for Bradley-Tweed -> coffee in Piermont (gotta get back early JP, sorry mate). Playing by ear though—looks like fender weather -1:

Hoping to join the early ride, gotta be home early as wel.
Guess I got to get up earlier tomorrow.
I'm in the for early ride.  Gotta be back early and keeping eye on the weather.
I'll be there for 8
Weather is looking kinda crappy but still gonna roll at 7 from BB
raining but on my way to the bb
