That sucks Mark. Heal up quick. I got attacked by a Rottweiler and Pitbull once (really), ran over the Pitbull and went over the bars. Pitbull ran off, which thankfully gave the Rottweiler pause. It's an awful feeling, really shakes you up. I hope the owner learns a lesson.

I didn’t speak with the owner , the cop did and from what she said “ I don’t think my dog bit him “ sounded like she wasn’t all that fussed

GWB tomorrow at 9am. Going to go orchards for that sweet sweet fall cider. May continue to head north to bear depending how the legs feel. If i head to Bear, I'll take 9W back to the bridge, if I head home from the orchards, I'll wind my way back and climb through alpine back to 9w

I have plans in New Jersey next Sunday, so I won’t be able to ride. I figured I’ll try to earn the rest day with a century.
Anyone up for a Bear Mountain trip on Saturday? 8am GWB, so we don’t dig too late into the day.

Rich and I rode with a new member Will on Saturday (he got his days confused for the new member ride, but tagged along with us to orchards). We took a pretty meandering route there and back with a good bit of climbing. Will is diesel and took long and steady pulls, rich paced out of the climbs hard and steady roll throughout the day and we refueled with donuts and cider. More friends should come ride bikes!

Maybe the same Will who joined yesterday. Originally into MTB but moved on to road and gravel recently. Super strong, super nice, good bike handling and most importantly took 2 sprints - state line on the way to Piermont and service road heading back to the bridge.

Tomorrow, Saturday 10/22 - I'm in #basemilesyo mode trying to get back into shape so will be going steady up to Piermont and will most likely throw in a Bradley/Tweed.
Can be convinced to explore Westchester's gravel paths instead if anyone knows the way.
