Croton Cross instead! Men's Cat 4 at 8am? I'm in.

Busy family weekend so tomorrow, Saturday 10/29, 7am - Out and Back from Bayside Queens to Cold Spring Harbor via Northern Blvd (25a) at sunrise. Approximately 40 miles round trip with about the same elevation gain as GWB to Piermont on 9w.

Holler if you want to join.

P.S. - I can be convinced to ride Cunningham trails instead :)
Sweet, David, see you there. We have a few kissenistas racing tomorrow at Croton!
Good news! River Road between Piermont and Nyack is newly paved.

You can now ride through there without feeling like your at Roubaix!
Are there any group rides this coming saturday or sunday?
Rolling early tomorrow from GWB (8am). Route will be river road (gotta catch that peak foliage), 9w to piermont, the New York river road to nyack (roll on that sweet sweet freshly paved road surface), pit stop at boxer donuts (because duh), climb out of nyack back to tweed, drop back into piermont and then motor home down 9w
I expect to be out Sunday at the GWB at 9am, 9:!0am roll.

If left to my own devices, I'll probably return to the GWB around 1pm.  Can ride to Piermont and drop folks off for people wanting to go shorter.
I’m planning on riding Cunningham Saturday morning if anyone wants to join. I could be convinced to go to glacier if you’re so inclined
I will be at Cunningham tomorrow (Saturday) on the cross bike. Will likely be on the west side around 8:30 am.
@Matt Budofsky I should be there.
anyone interested in doing as a group like we did in July the Piermont 9W ride on Sunday at 9 am?  I think we had almost 40 people the last time.
I am leaving my phone number if anyone wants to text to confirm for Sunday 212-970-3800
I’m likely to join at GWB tomorrow at 9am as long as I don’t come down with my wife’s virus
@GregHoge and I rolled north on Saturday in the beautiful early summer fall heat. We opted to put in some effort by climbing up Alpine, but decided to stick to the flats after that. A cop told us to ride single file on the repaved river road rather than 2 abreast so we debated all of the arguments one can make about being in single file without being directly behind (I think the winner was the signs never said which direction the single file needs to be). We kept good pace heading south on 9W despite the headwind and picked up a a passenger. He was nice and thanked us for the tow when Greg headed to Hudson Terrace and I started to snake my way back through NJ. A super nice, mellow day.
good times riding w/ Dave and Patrick on the Cunningham trails!

Anyone interested in a cold AM ride to Nyack tomorrow 11/19?  9AM GWB.  Feel free to contact me on Slack or my cell 914-224-8920  Bundle up!
@ErikPfiffner

Haven't seen you post in ages.  Glad you're getting out as the weather is getting bad.  Sorry I can't make it Saturday.

My own thing is Sunday at the GWB.  9am meet, 9:10am roll.  It will be pretty chilly, so I figure a steady pace is what we need. My plan is to get back to the GWB by 1pm.
Ran into an old friend en route to the GWB.  Waited for a few minutes to allow Kissena's to show.  No one came, so we rolled out.

Rob lost a thru-axle yesterday on the approach to Greenbrier/Bradley (his derailleur broke while riding and he was getting into a cab when he couldn't find it), so we first went there.  WE then climbed Bradley and when he told me he had never ridden across the TAppan Zee, we turned around on Clausland and went to the bridge.

We had a wicked tailwind crossing the bridge.  Looking at Strava, I think I could have set the KoM had I been thinking about it.  Le Sigh. Lost opportunities.

We rode the Trailway back from Tarrytown.  Might have seen four people, one cyclist the whole length of the Trailway.

Nice, easy, long day.

Anyone up for Bradley Tweed —> Nyack —> home tomorrow? Probably looking at an early start time to avoid the rain.
I'll be riding over in NJ tomorrow.  Probably up to Piermont possibly with Bradley Tweed.  I could be convinced to just do Market though.

GWB @ 9am. Rolling out at 9:05.
Riding Sunday.  GWB at 9.  My idea is to be back around 1pm.

Can drop people off in Piermont or just head into the unknown--well, I haven't ridden to Mahwah in some time and thinking I'd go that way.
Post world cup final. I am planning on hitting Cunningham tomorrow afternoon on the cyclocross bike.

Hitting the trails at 1:30pm Tomorrow Friday December 18 -- Let me know if you wanna join, either here or via text: 347.225.1058.

If no one chimes in I might start earlier or later, or take a nap ;)
@eloy
I’ll text you in the morning , I’m probably a 50% of going
Nice day out there.

Matt and (Marc Bertucco, dressed in his Kissena clothes) joined me at the GWB.  We did ride to Mahwah, where Matt headed 'back' on route 202 an then on to Maywood, while the rest of us made our way to Suffern before turning for home.  FWIW, I was feeling better than I guess I expected, which is always welcome, even though on a windy freezing day, it's hard to notice.

Caveats for weather (its looking iffy right now)
@Matt Budofsky
I miiiiight be down for that depending on weather
Planning on hitting Cunningham on the morning of Saturday 31st, and then again on Monday January 2nd, as usual on the CX bike. Much like Matt above, will depend on weather, specially Saturday.

Let me know if interested. Cheers!
Weather is looking like it’s going to hold so wormhole is a go!

edit: meet at gwb at 9am
Don't mean to compete. Remider: Planning tomorrow Sat 12/31 Cunningham on the CX Bike 9:30 am. Let me know if coming, here or text at 347.225.1058
