I'll be at GWB tomorrow at 9am.  Come enjoy the "nice" weather on two wheels.
I’ll be there. Feel free to drop me, though. I took December off and this month has been light. Hoping to use this weekend as a kick in the rear to get ready for March.
I’m 95 percent in. Will confirm tonight or tomorrow AM.
I’ll be there
8am Brooklyn Bridge 9am GWB
don't think I can make Saturday, and if I do, it won't be for long--I've got the kids to myself this weekend.

Sunday, I should be able to get out though.
Tomorrow Sunday January 29th will likely head to Cunningham on my CX bike. On the trails by 9:30am

Let me know if interested or you wanna join, here or via text: 347.225.1058 -- if I don't hear from anyone I might change start times or bail out all together and watch the world cups live
9:30 at Cunningham sounds like my speed (I’m not a morning person)
John M, Greg H, Jonathan A, (Marc B), and myself.  Supposed to be a warm day, so we all seemed to dress accordingly.

Had a speedy descent of E. Clinton.  With John in the lead, I just missed 50mph (49.9).  Greg's Strava read out at 52.4 Marc's Strava says he hit 52.7.  With a little coordination we can take the KoM.  Not that it's wise.

Rode the low road to Piermont.  John turned off by the steakhouse to head back.  The others were kind enough to let me select a route to the Orchards.

It barely warmed up.

We had our Top Gun experience on the corkscrew descent after the Orchards.  Greg and Jonathan were first-timers.  Four of us started the descent, three of us came out.  Eeek!  Luckily, Jonathan only flatted.

Rolled back pretty well overall.  Kudos to Greg and Jonathan, who put up with my nonsense pretty well.  Greg probably just missed a century.

Saturday was fun , 6 of us ,Richard,Greg,Brett,Patrick,  Eloy and myself headed low road to Piermont and back home .

Sunday headed to new trails at Hartstone park in NJ
lots of elevation , fun flowy trails

Sunday Cunningham w/ Patrick
Looking chilly for Saturday.  Think I'll get on my rollers for the first time in a few weeks and later go for a walk.

But Sunday!  I expect to be out.  Looks like it might be warming up all day.
I might ride tomorrow, but probably with a later start time like ~11am GWB.
2 solid hours at Cunningham
I'm hoping to get out tomorrow.  Probably be at GWB at 9.  I'll post if I bail and hit up Zwift.
Aiming to be at GWB at 9:30. I know it screws with the regular plan
Running behind, so I'll likely be 930 as well.
Another unseasonably warm January day--well, after 11am.

Took some side roads in a common direction.

Started a little late , (a month late @mugwump ), glad I was convinced into doing a road ride ,
weather was pleasant
Trying to plan my weekend riding already…anyone leading any rides off GWB and know what day you might be doing that?
I'm planning on being at the GWB 9am Sunday.  I need to be back by around 12:30, so...

I'm thinking of doing a more traditional Sunday ride.  That's go out on the Low Road, go around to the west side of Clausland, for the hill there, then go to Mountain View road, climb that, do a lap of Rockland Lake and start heading back on 9W.  I figure control on most of the climbs, perhaps let the dogs out on Mountain View, and keep people together long enough, and not blown out by stateline, so we can form a fast rotating pace line once we're at the Scout Camp in Alpine.
Count me in- I need to be home a bit earlier most likely so may bail at Piermont
I’ll be at GBW at 9 (and maybe BB at 8) tomorrow. Join me
I had to push a big weight lifting workout to today so I’m gonna try for Sunday I think, so I don’t have my quads give out like last time ha.
Got my days confused. I’m in for today (Saturday) but need to be home by 12 so I’m bailing at piermont
Joining joining Sunday. 8am BB 9am GWB
I’ll be doing the same as Eloy tomorrow - 8am BB, 9/9:15 GWB. See you then!
David V, Eloy, Greg H, (Marc B), and myself.

Beautiful day again.  And the bridge, on the way out, wasn't crowded.

Kept the pace controlled to Sparkill, where Eloy and DAvid headed for the shop and then home.

We continued on my planned route, riding hard but not killing it over Bradley, Mountain View...

(flatted in Congers. The casing is starting to show through the tread on my Zipp Tubeless race tires.  Four months plus on lightweight "racing" tubeless tires doesn't seem bad.  I shoved in a tube and continued.)

...Rockland Lake, just dueling a bit up the wall past Nyack College.

The goal was to be able to crank up the power and ride a fast three-person pace line back from Scout Camp to the final hill on Hudson Terrace.  It went pretty well for a first-time of the season.

When we got back to the city, Greg still needed to get in 100 TSS before hitting home--some kind of Velocious torture program--so he headed for hills in Central Park.  Hope he got his number

If the weather is nice i'm looking to do a long ride over the GW on Saturday, first of the season for me now that I'm over post-covid, got a job, and have a working bike. Anyone wanna show me river road? Never been on it.
With the race season starting next weekend (and a Kissena Clinic, too!) I was thinking of a repeat of this past Sunday's ride.

"I'm thinking of doing a more traditional Sunday ride.  That's go out on the Low Road, go around to the west side of Clausland, for the hill there, then go to Mountain View road, climb that, do a lap of Rockland Lake and start heading back on 9W.  I figure control on most of the climbs, perhaps let the dogs out on Mountain View, and keep people together long enough, and not blown out by stateline, so we can form a fast rotating pace line once we're at the Scout Camp in Alpine." The pace line continues to the last rise on Hudson Terrace where we sprint.
I'm out of town this weekend but highly recommend if you're thinking of racing, to tag along with JP @mugwump.
