I’ve been sick for the last week but am feeling better and will try to make the Sunday 9W ride tomorrow. I’m probably good just to Piermont cause I’ve got stuff in the afternoon. BB 8AM/GWB 9:15am

@StephenAschkenes for the next upstate ride (have my calendar marked for July 16) what do you think about partnering up with @JohnOlsson up in the Catskills? I saw on Strava he's got a club together up there and offered to help organize a ride.

It wouldn't be accessible by train as far as I know but we can hopefully try to carpool, I have a car and rear rack for 2 bikes on the back but probably can squeeze a third bike/person in the car too.

The perfect “wet” morning ride 

Expect to be at the GWB, Jersey side, by 9:10am.

Long, melty ride out there yesterday.  It got progressively harder to crank out watts as the day went on.  Hoping it was just an adaptation ride and the subsequent hot days will be easier.

I like this route.  Most of it would be pretty simple as a group, as there are several 10km+ single-road stretches.

VO2 Max intervals, of course.  Each climb different.  2745' of climbing in 34 miles.  

5 of them, all 4-5 minutes in length.
