I tried to make him puke with some hard pulls here and there but he hung tough and kept it down.
you don't know how close you got

everything after Alpine was at "vomit-control" speed
Anyone keen to head out tomorrow morning? Even a couple of hours would be nice to get out of the City...
Dave - check the CRCA Alpine TT Climb thread - a bunch of peeps are heading over GWB in the morning for that (sadly, I ain't one of 'em).
Anyone heading out on Sunday?
I'd like to do a "family man's" ride; Brooklyn Bridge at 7 or 8, home by
11:30.

I'd be up for the family man's ride on Sunday.
Keith and I are planning an 80-90 miler.  5-6 climbs.  Probably nothing crazy outside of hitting it hard on those.  Come along, Kim!

I am up for a Sunday ride.
I'm headed out Saturday morning to Little Tor.  Let me know if you want to go and we'll coordinate timing.  Will probably head out Sunday as well if the weather holds.
What time for the Keith/Jeff ride? How about our usual 8am BB/9am GWB, which might also fit constraints for Jules and Craig.
I may be able to do the first 1/3 of the Family Man's ride on Sunday if it leaves early. I have to be back before 10AM.
Family man's ride leaves Brooklyn Bridge at 7am, GWB at 8am

Back Home at the BB by 11:30am or a full refund.
I'm down for family man's ride @ 7am BB (or even earlier if anyone is game). I need to get some hill work in and was planning to do Alpine repeats. So I may peel off there unless someone's got other suggestions.
Keith/Jeff 9am @ GWB.

He's gotta work Saturday night, so he needs his 5 hours of sleep and not eating and then wondering why we're smashed after 80 miles in the hot sun and 5 big climbs. BONKTOWN!

Should be fun.
@ Jeff, I will be there. I really need to blow off some steam. I'll probably mostly sit on your wheels every climb and sprint past you at the KOM. Just saying.
I plan to join the later ride. I'm a family man, but my kids will probably still be sleeping when I get home.
@Jeff, I'd like to join in on your 8am BB/9am GWB ride, I can meet at the brooklyn bridge.
If my Saturday night is as lame as anticipated, I'm in for the early Sunday ride.
Hope to suck some wheels with the 9am @gwb crowd on Sunday
Kim,

I live in the epicenter of the universe of trendiness, Williamsburg, so I take a different bridge. But, I can meet you around 15th St on the bike path. Don't know if you know the decent routes yet to the GW.

I imagine other people will be at BB @ 8am though, and can show you the path to 9W Fred glory! If not, holla and I'll be at 15th.
Ok I can do the west side green belt to the gw @9am, where do you usually rendezvous? Right before the bridge or at the bottom of the hill?
Kim Ashley & Sunday crowd: 8am BB meeting point, meet up with the crew @ GWB 9am.
I will plan to meet you on the West Side bike path at 15th St (looking for Jeff).
@KimW - the GWB meeting point is on the NJ side right at the end of the path where it hits the street.
I'm in for the 7am BB ride as well.
Cool. Who else is in for 7am BB?
When: Sunday July 1, 9am
Where: NJ side of the GWB
What: Traditional Sunday route to Rockland Lake and back, NO DROP.

I don't know if the above is the solution, but please be really clear on this thread about what day/date/ride-time you are referring to. It's a little confusing, especially in the responses.

So, I'm going to show up for a SUNDAY JULY 1 ride leaving the NJ side of the GWB at 9am-ish. Anyone who rides with me, will not be dropped. Because I'm slow. But, I'd like to ride all the way to Rockland Lake and back, instead of just Piermont and back. A fairly traditional route.
I should be in for the 7 a.m. BB meetup even though I kinda destro'd myself today up in Pawling. Will have an Appetite for Wheelsuction.
Marc, enjoy your languid departure times whilst you can! You'll be joining us soon enough Luke...

I'll be leading the "Family Man's" ride, same date, but an hour earlier. 7am BB and 8am GWB. We'll go as far as our legs take us, with the aim to be back at BB by 11am.

No drop. You are responsible for bringing appropriate equipment including but not limited to:

Well maintained bike
Flat kit
Nutrition
Legs
Helmet

No headphones.
I'm bailing on the ride for tomorrow. Enjoy it without me.
