I plan to be there.
Looks like rain. Check the board in the morning. There is a time of year when I will train 5 hours in the rain. This is not it.
Too wet for me. Maybe tomorrow.
Yeah. I'll be in the park later if there's a dry spell.
Time to do indoor things to get ready for Cx. Glue anyone?
Is anyone riding later today, ie 3pm?
Plans for a sunday ride? I'm in BK right now.

Ill be leaving from Williamsburg to meet a friend at the GWB at 845am

I'm most likely in.
Good man!

If there are a few of us then id estimate 2.5 hours from GWB to summit, 20 minutes eating and drinking on top and making excuses for why we didnt get the kom then 3 hours back to gwb. Perhaps another .5 hours of filling up water and eating more so lets call it 6 hours, assuming 845 departure from gwb that should get most back to BK for what, 3pm or 4pm to be safe?
Hey guys....im trying to leave bkln @ 8am. Would love some company for a
while... need to be back by noon though.....

Probably will be there. 9:00 is our standard time from GWB but will try to advance my clock.
Ashley...your timing sounds, how do we say in our country...optimistic?

I'll probably ride with Stokes and Myles and anyone else who shows for the standard-ish Kissena Sunday ride.
As usual, I'll be at BB at 8, GWB at 9. Maybe Ashley's crew will be lazy and wait up. Will look for Myles.
I'll be there at 9am. A couple of my friends (who I've been trying to get to join Kissena) will be there too. I think they should be okay with our usual pace up to Piermont.
Nice big group ride today...maybe 15 guys? Split up as we hit Palisades NY, JP leading a crew back to the city. A big group is still riding as I type this up to Bear Mountain, and a handful of us Manhattan-ites, did some nice top secret extra-legal climbing up to the top of Clausland Mountain before heading home for a total of 3 hours for this Washington Height's resident.

Nice day for a ride. One of the best of the year for sure.
lots of new folks out.  One of Gideon's pals was on a MTB.  Hope he wasn't hating us too much.  If anyone has a frame for a six-foot guy, he might be in the market.
Our continued ride to Bear Mountain was awesome. There were only 3 of us, Aly my friend Fran and myself.

Great day for it and nice conditions apart from the 42 small ring and only a 23 at the back, none favorable climbing ratio!

200.5km, 2,605m Climbing.

New PR on Bear Mountain too although the second rep we did I was slow was fcuk.........

SECOND REP?!

And I felt bad that we took you to the bottom of the Alpine climb.
I will be out tomorrow 9am gwb.
Tomorrow I will be at 'cross workshop in Cunningham Park.
Sunday, I will be at GWB at 9:00 am. Is anyone left in town?
I'll be at GWB at 9 too. Or my bloated carcass will be.
Anybody wanna do an early Rockaway/Long Beach ride from PP tomorrow? I'm thinking of changing it up a little tomorrow.

I'm up for a ride on Sunday. Anyone want to meet up at the BB at 8?
I'm in for 8 am BB on Sunday. Tomorrow I'm planning to hit Prospect Park for a few hours of tempo around 8:30 if anyone is interested.

I will be out tomorrow 9am gwb.
I got a late start and saw Joe coming back on Hudson Terrace as I was going out... the new kit looks hot!
Gideon didn't recognize us!

We had a nice ride, hootin' around with Mattie at the bike shop and he pointed us to the hot new donut place in Nyack (maple bacon donuts??!! YES.).  Then I almost got killed by a crappy Corvette in Nyack who was all the way on the opposite side of the road flooring it past some cyclists around a blind turn.  We eventually found him later, and I'll let Joe tell the story.  I'll just say for once, I didn't drop F-bombs and threaten someone.  Acting mature is soooooooo boring.

Rest of the ride was fine.  But I have a question:  do you guys ever get chills after a hard ride?  I'm so out of shape, after today and my ride earlier this week with Keith I've had chills and even some hot feelings in my face like I'm getting sick, but they go away after a couple of hours.  Just me going too hard and being completely spent?
