Replaced todays ride with a family visit to DUMBO smorgasbord. Beef jerky, cherry ices, black and white cookies and redonkulous chow as far as the eye can see.

I'm going up to Bear on sunday morning and not riding back. I'm not sure if there is something organized already or not but I need to be up there by noon/1pm. All are welcome to join me. will most likely leave GWB at 9.

Jeez Aly, we'll miss you. Be careful, it gets pretty cold up there during the winter.

While you guys were killing yourselfs (tee hee, inside joke) I had a leisurely ride to Piermont and met Ros, Grayson and Ros' bro up Alpine.  CRCA post-race Fred extravaganza on 9W and over the GW, where we were at a standstill multiple times.  It seems like there was some sort of Gran Fondo/5 borough bike tour pre-ride clusterfuck.

Anyway, most important thing is GYPSY DONUTS is now in effect inside the bikeshop in Piermont!  They ran out of the delicious maple bacon donuts today, but Mattie said he'd make sure and save some for us tomorrow.
